Nice Shooting! Originaly They were shot mostly with Conical Bullets not Balls.
I developed Big Bullets for it.. If You want to add some power to it, tune it up with my new Bullets. With the right Powder, like 777, Swiss BP,KIK BP and Black MZ and the Right Projectile like my New VKV 240 and 255 Grain Bullets which are capable of exceeding 357 and 41 Magnum Power with more sectional density and a bigger hole!! Videos demonstrating my bullet are on my channel and Mr. Hovey Smith's Channel
Cool Video, nice piece of Historic Equipment. Man, I know they were multi-shot devices in the days of Muzzel-loading weapons, but image thrying to reload that in the heat of battle. I'd need a tree to try and hide behind for a few minutes while the enemy would be charging towards.
Great video! just got my first 1860 Army and I plan to follow uncle Chuck's instructions, I guess I'm gonna have to sacrifice my old felt Bailey hat! (the moths ate it already, Thanks Uncle Chuck.
Nice vid I'ma see if i could make a Vid myself of of an actual paper version of this that shoots paper dummy bullets keep an Eye out but it might be slow at first
Thanks for posting. I'm doing a report on the Civil War and the weapons used by the Army at the time for a college project and this really helps me understand the Model 1860.
do u want to die??? always place your caps AFTER reloading, the best is to place them before shooting, to prevent accidents!
imagine what could happen if you force a ball, you slip the gun and drop it, it would probably fire!
anyway good video! :)
