if you use this at more of an angle, leaning the blade back, it pulls out more hair per pass. my cats love these brushes because there really isn't any sharp edges on it at all. I don't have this exact shed-ender, but a similar knock-off brand. keeps my floors tumbleweed-free! :)

This product is stupid as you can go to about any pet store or vet office and get a cheap flea comb that removes my cats shedding hair..plus fleas if needed...no specialized "shed ender" product required..they are just using a flea comb repackaged.

if your dog is biting you while you brush it you are brushing the wrong area..

But I tried this thing. Waste of money. Wire brush gets 8 handfuls of hair vs less than 1 with this thing. If your dog really has issues though with a wire brush, dont beat them where the piss themselves everytime they get scared.. tends to help the biting issue

if its their own dog thats pretty bad. Ive had 6 and non of my dogs ever did, or would have bite me. nip, or growl even (outside of play time). A dog is only as good as its trainer/owner. Many of its great qualities have to be installed and some people just neglect the responsibility or yet have learned what they need to do to make sure they are a happy, loyal, loving dog

man i love your reviews becuase theres no smoke and mirrors. in those "paid" reviews, the product is already out of the package, all prepped up. you, you show the ripping out of the package (but with the open it it makes it easy) and the instructions hidden under everything.
