Insurance companies are only required to payout 70% in claims. They keep 30% to pay CEO, board of director and post BIG PROFIT. It only cost 4% for Medicare to operate because this is a NOT FOR PROFIT. That means 96% is going directly toward health care. So the way to get an immediate 26% reduction in health care cost is to get rid of the insurances co.

That´s not how it works. All the insurance companies are colluding with one another and cherry picking the best risks and off loading it onto the taxpayers. They end up collecting premiums from people who are very fit and young while the taxpayer is left holding the ban. Scrapping that system means everybody will essentially be paying less because profiteering is no longer the name of the game. No fuss, no muss. It works everywhere. I will outlive you as a Canadian.

Good job dodging the question. So no, you have not read either HR 3590 (2633 pages) or HR 3962 (2016 pages). So basically you don't have a clue what you are talking about when you say there is too much crap in the bill.

Actually I have; it just so happens however that much of the language is the same. Hence why starting over from scratch would be a good idea. Not sure where you see a problem with that.

That's because the politicians aren't even in charge. They never write or read the bills that go through congress anymore. The lobbyists write the legislation and the dems and pubs just spew the narrative that their "constituents" would like to hear.
