  • This could describe most democrats I know

  • thanks liked it

  • At 3:06 why does it say "Signs of Antisocial Personality Disorder"? I thought this video was about NPD?

  • My ex girlfriend is one too. If you feel that your partner has NPD, get out - NOW. You cannot win and the more you try the more you will get hurt. The barriers will come up and they will push you away and devalue you again and again. Then they will want you back, then the process happens again. Take it from someone who knows and get out of the 'relationship'. Life is too short.

  • Donald Trump? Bill O'Reilly? Bill Clinton?

  • (Cont. from previous post)

I first came across the fact that no one is simply this or that, when I studied Carl Jung some forty years ago.

It was he who first came up with the conceptions of intro and extraversion - two polarities - but who warned to not label anyone as simply this or that.

We are all "salads" of the this and that of personality, incuding those of us who try to remain reasonably sane, in a world ruled by closer examples of pure sociopathy, for instance. Word limit reached.

  • Dr Hahn is very insightful, very well informed as has the gift of being concise in terms that almost anyone could understand, if she/he is able to be open but, as Dr Hahn frequently observes, those with borderline personality disorders are seldom open.

My father was a narcissist mainly and I have lived with both a hystrionic and a paranoid type(s), so I know what she is describing ... which makes me "border line sucker"?

Rhoda is careful to point out that no one is simply a "type" (cont).

  • I've been working a lot of psych lately at work...these are the funniest people but dang treating them seems nearly impossible.

  • @scrolllocknumlock well........because it is not a disorder it is just a personality type

  • she has, You Know Personality Disorder

  • we used to just call them assholes

  • @sloth96cky

Right. And I also think they are among the worst. Unfortunately there are so many of them!

  • wow people are dieing from cancers and viruses and what not and we invent new disorders you can get sick from...wow

  • @ThePODlover Wow you need some education. Psychiatric disorders are illnesses of the psyche or brain. She is not making up disorders and they are not new. Try studying Freud or Adler. Skinner or Carl Jung. Mental illness needs to be helped just as any other diseases.

  • @TheShirlock i understand that mental illnesses are just as bad, but this one just doesnt seem even as close as serious as AIDS or cancer or others..i didnt mean to offend anybody,i am sorry if i did.

  • In one word " NAZI"

  • she just described my ex girlfriend. This was very insightful.

  • ALWAYS WONDERED WHAT MY SON HAD! I THOUGHT HE WAS A D D AND JUST AMASSIVE EGO

  • wow Ive always thought Im a narcissist I dont anymore :)

Isnt some of the characteristics the Dr describes very frequent perhaps in less degrees in many "normal" people?

  • I know someone named Monica who is definitely Narcissistic.

  • This disorder sounds like heaven, a constant sense of confidence and lack of self criticism is like the paragon of emotions.

  • this is very informative thank you

  • i have this and (BPD)

  • HATE PPL WHO ARE LIKE THISSSSS >.< it IRKS ME.

  • @BrittanyJackson19 as annoying as they may seem, it really is a mental disorder. You don't go around saying, "ugh I hate people with anorexia!"

  • I think I might have this

  • @michaelfivez shame i wish u the best

  • LOL I love this woman.

  • MY BOSS!!!!!

  • @Moneybrawl People need to quit using the term narcissism incorrectly imo.

  • thank you, i never knew so i will avoid those types of peoples whom i acturally know and was wondering if i was the problem it's really them !!!! thank you again

  • wow.. i know someone in my family that fits this completely

  • This one doesn't seem that rare...there's one of these in every office, at every party, in every family....

  • Relationship or Friendship dynamics are all different, but all involve a sense of narcissism on some level. Do we not crave r/f' ships that make us feel good about ourselves? "Grandiose sense of self" is the red flag. I can't stand like that. I knew a guy who told me his sh!t didn't stink, and he actually believed it!

  • I have just ended A 2yr maarriage with a wife that carried many of these traits. It has been the most devastating thing that has ever happened to me as I did love her. My heart truly goes out to anyone in such a relationship.

  • @jingles302 i am sorry to hear that hun

  • That describes him all right. Scary.

  • Sounds like a lot of people.

  • @MisanthropicSchizoid except that these can't survive whithout being this way andthere generally very lunatic pple

  • Can you tell me why Boris Konovalov is tagged? : /
