@SuperKingJingaling I HATED that the movie polished off a fantastic scene for dogma, it really pissed me off. That kitty scene should have been brilliant, but as always, SK's masterpiece is callously butchered; just like in Misery when Kathy Bates whacked his ankle with a sledgehammer in lieu of chopping it off.

In the novella at least, the kid is the real evil manipulator and makes the old man basically evil again through his messed up blackmailing of the old man that just wants some peace
