@soulesssilence and @dhammawitt, the recording in fact sounds strange, i bet the guitar has other tha wood reinforced top, perhaps carbon fiber, some luthiers use this to make the top thinner and gainig volume, but ther is thi downside, however in live performance is less noticeable, and volume is always welcome, so stop arguing...

Marcin is an excellent player, a bit over hyped at times but how does this relate to me? This is my opinion. The guitar sounds awful, not a good choice. Get over it.

Zgadzam się z Tobą. Być może niektórzy nie słyszą wszystkich niuansów na nagraniu (zważając również na jakość internetową). Miałem przyjemność słuchać Marcina w tym repertuarze na żywo i naprawdę niczego tam nie brakuje, a ja jestem bardzo wybredny:P Każdy ma swój gust, ale każdy powinien liczyć się też ze zdaniem innych. Osobiście uważam, że Marcin to geniusz i prawdziwy Muzyk, a tych muzyka gitarowa nie ma niestety tak wielu.

Bardzo szanuje zdanie ClassicGuitar5Player-a, Twoje argumenty do mnie trafily, ale nie zmienily mojego zdania diametralnie. Zbyt ubogie to jest kolorystycznie. Myslalem ze heroizm polega raczej na oddzialywaniu emocjonalnym, przez budowe harmoniczna, do ktorej wykonawca dodaje dynamike i robi z tego zywa forme, a nie graniu bardzo szybko. Ale moge sie mylic;-) A tak swoja droga to heroizm jest cecha muzyki romatycznej, polecam Brahmsa, np koncert skrzypcowy D-dur op. 77:-D tak na poczatek:-D

Jeżeli uważasz, że tu nie ma dynamiki to ja polecam aparat słuchowy, ja np. oprócz dynamiki słyszę całe mnóstwo elementów. Widać, że wszystko co robi Marcin jest głęboko przemyślane. Te wszystkie elementy sprawiają, że muzyka w jego wykonaniu jest na najwyższym, elitarnym poziomie i słucha się jej wyjątkowo dobrze. Takie jest przynajmniej moje zdanie.

Po glebszym zastanowieniu, dochodze do wniosku iz malo odpowiedzialnie wywolalem dosc zajadla debate, nad bardzo delikatna kwestia, ze tak to ujme miedzy ustami a brzegiem pucharu... Wszak interpretacja jest zawsze bardzo wzglednie obiektywna, natomiast nie podlega dyskusji fakt ze jest zawsze bezwzglednie subiektywna tak w wykonaniu jak i odbiorze. Drodzy Panstwo, jakim cudem utwor klasyczny jak Rossiniana moze byc oparty na romantycznej operze, a no moze, gdyz periodyzacja epok gitarowych jest nieco opozniona w stosunku do periodyzacji na rozleglych frontach reszty muzyki, a dokladnie tej ktora najmocniej ciagnie ja do przodu, orkiestrowej. Tak jak np. Sor lata zycia - romantyzm, tworczosc - typowo klasyczna.

I have been blessed to see him perform here in Buffalo NY 4x, the most recent a few weeks ago, including his performance with the buffalo Philharmonic a summer after winning the Faletta Competition here.
