I actually own the electric version of the scooter and have riden it everyday for the past 10 years. May I ask why did you convert to gas?

for some reason it stopped working after only 2 years for me. i took it too the shop and they said it would cost 150+ just to fix it which is almost another scooter, so i just converted it.

They are ripping you off. For that price it sounds like a battery problem. They need to be replaced every 2-5 years. Go to BatteriesPlus. They sell the batteries for $35/each usually and the install is as easy as an hour and a metric tool set. I have replaced them about 3 times now and never paid more than $80 each time. I got mine free off Craigslist since the original owner had the same problem; again, just replace the batteries. BTW good job on the conversion.
