  • Man, I saw these guys in Ybor and offered him a shot after the show. Next thing I know we're 4 deep sitting at the bar talking about vintage drums for over an hour. This guy was an absolute inspiration to me as a drummer and a super friendly person. Thanks for posting this.

  • Thanks for making this video man. Couldn't agree more with what you said. All the best :)

  • great video man. such a tragic thing that happened to him. RIP Jerry

  • Maserati is one of my favorite bands. I had the privilege of seeing them a handful of times while I was attending school in Athens, GA. Jerry was one of my favorite drummers to watch. He is missed and it is such a shame that he was so young. It is good to see the videos on Youtube and the music reaching new audiences. Jerry lives on in the hearts of his fans. RIP JF

  • what did your story about the kid who got on drugs have anything to do with Jerry?...He drank and smoked cigarettes which are also in the "drug" family....Plenty of other famous and talented musicians smoke pot also. Thank you

  • I had the priviledge of seeing Jerry's band Maserati before he died.

    He was so talented.

    Thanks for making this.

  • @ericmsandoval you're welcome...:)

  • ty:) he was a tremendous talent..........

  • I think of myself as up on new music, but have just recently heard of jerry. watched some vids and was impressed by his talent, but what struck me were the videos of him talking. got the impression he was a kindhearted soul for sure. he truly will be missed. thankfully he has left us recordings to forever appreciate the talent taken away.

  • I have known Jerry since we were in Diapers. I lived 2 doors away. He's always loved drumming from childhood til the day he died.

    Thanks for this wonderful tribute!

    Peace and love,

    Jeanne

  • So very sad,,, Jerry, you are being missed right now and for as long as my ears and heart are connected,,, thank you tonnes and tonnes for the music, and the person you were,,,

  • This is awful. I just met him a few weeks ago at the Wilmington nc show. He was incredibly nice and gave time to anyone who wanted to talk with him. My condolences.

  • Nice comments for someone you never even heard of. Much respect. R.I.P Jerry

  • he's a mad talent bro. . simply one of the best drummers ive ever heard. i play in a band and i feel honored to have my music influenced by one of his bands, Maserati. . RIP JF ..

  • I knew Jerry as a teenager, and I will never forget my impression of him -- that he was one of the very few truly kind-hearted people I've ever known.

  • Thank you for this video. I'm in the same boat as you. I never heard of Jerry before tonight, but this news makes me sad.

  • yw:) it is always a sad thing that someone leaves us at such a young age.

  • I have had the same thing happen in my life.....it really makes you sit back and think about things...my heart goes out to his friends and family.

  • besides being unbelievably talented Jerry was also a great person.

full of energy, yet very down to earth.

I still have a hard time believing this. I just saw him a few weeks ago.
