@howieization Yes The Sonic Gem Collection, Released for Nintendo Gamecbe and Playstation 2 in 2005, The Gem version of Sonic is a enhanced port of the PC version. Though it lacked color of water in the tidal tempest stage. The Gem collection also contains the instructions manuals digitally stored on Disc of both the SEGA Cd manual and the PC manual.

Well Im getting it on the PSN for the PS3, I have it with the Sonic Gem Collection on PS2, so i am going to have access to both the Japanese soundtrack and the U.S Soundtrack.

@howieization Apparently No it is going to just have the Japanese Soundtrack, The U.S one is not planned for release due to issues with licensing, however SEGA is looking into a Solution.

Actually SEGA is planning to release Sonic CD for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad in Late 2011. It's on their official website. Thumbs up so people will know!

This guy is using the sega genesis emulator for iPhone (genesis4iphone) and a copy of the Sonic CD ISO... so there is no such special adaptation whatsoever.

@fbloise durp. He developed the app himself to run the game @ 100% playability and have the sound working 100% fully. Last time I checked, the genesis4iphone ran Sonic CD @ crappy framerate and with no sound.

also if you played Sonic 4 and got the good ending(SPOILER) and saw Metal Sonic who thinks Sonic 4:Ep2 will be a Sonic CD remake. or at least have some of the levels.
