  • there is a product called "hi-marks" which is a tube of resin. put a little dab at the top of the crystal, let it harden and you have a perfect little indicator of where the top is. the drop you place on the crystal doesn't have to be very large (less than 2 mm in side will do nicely).

    "hi-marks" comes in 2 colors: day glow orange or black. I really wish they made a clear version.
