Mm There seems to be a cultural conflict that is not so good for the Orchestra. Its a shame as the cultural aspect could and should work in harmony with the orchestra and enhance it. Its as though the North american culture is looked down on to the superior South America culture, almost an ego thing. This is a real shame as I used to enjoy trips to schermerhorn. I was excited when Giancarlo first came here and still am hoping. The orchestra itself though is still excellent with great leads

Jonathan et al. -- The broadcast Sat. night was beautifully shot. I could not figure out how you could get some of those camera angles. The coordination with the musical parts was spot on. Nashville clearly has a star conductor now, and NPT is serving him well as an ally. Bravo! --Tom
