  • I also got a 99 tahoe 4x4 with 198,000 miles, love my truck all stock aswell, runs great. MPG killing me since i decided to put 22" rims on it.

13mpg xD lmao but i be smashing it on the highway tho

  • @323elbarto Yeah it surely isn't the best on gas. I get about 12-14 during the winter so I don't drive it much at all. It has about 217,100 on it now. Original transmission, original rear, original engine, etc. It's all original. I have a rust spot to fix above the tailpipe that has gotten really big in the past year but other than that it is still pretty nice

  • i love this body style of tahoe, and is so much better than those gay crossovers, I Hate Them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Tbolt1000TForLife Yeah. Crossover is a new word for oversized station wagon.

  • @chevy385 there ugly too

  • @Tbolt1000TForLife agreed

  • @chevy385 also my dad likes them, WTF?!?!

  • Sounds good esp for over 200k, Has it been a been a good reliable ride? I'm guessing gas is killing you tho. Those little 350's eat gas in SUVs

  • @watso64 It has been good an reliable so far. It had 205K on it when I got it. Needed a water pump, intake gaskets, belt, and hoses. Been good since. It will turn 213,000 tomorrow. Gas is killing me. I get 16-17 on my daily drive with it and it costs about $80-90 to fill it with 1/4 tank left.

  • 200,000 Miles have you ever have issue with it like how many repair have you don't before. Nice truck

  • @goodson305 I have not had it the whole time but it has had a water pump, intake gaskets(twice), coolant hoses, radiator, serpentine belt, fuel pump module, transfer case control module, and I put main bearings in it at about 207,000. The trans is original, engine is spotless inside and out, rear is original. The radiator and coolant related stuff was just done around 205,000 so most of the stock stuff hung around a long time.

  • @chevy385 Very nice but why did you change your fuel pump module you had starting problem like. I love the 99 Tahoe the sound of the pipe the interior and body style looks sporty, everything about it.Great video man.

  • @goodson305 Thanks. The fuel pump came out because it quit working. I love this body too. I also had a 93 Suburban and a 94 Z71 a while back. There are some videos of my old Suburban on here too. The pipe on the Tahoe now is completely stock but I would like to change it because the muffler pops every time you shut the truck off and its kind of annoying. The factory pipe is all stainless steel though so I really hate to change it.

  • @goodson305 The mileage is 210,650 now. It costs too much to drive every day though so I don't use it but once or twice a week

  • @blazersrule1 Thank you. I like the alarm too but I do hate that it stays on even when the ignition is turned on. I wish they would have set that up different. But I do like it.
