I'm sorry to say this but this is the worst couple in the final. Talented but seriously.....the WDSF seems to value acrobatics much more than solid basics in Latin. I cannot believe Troels and Ina were left out of the finals.

The couple should comunicate through the dance more.There should be a connection. Also the partner should show off his mate more. He should make her shine! That doesn't mean hes not important and he should not dance, just that it should have more of a partner ship

I don't want to say anything bad, just my personal view of things. To me this is almost acrobatics and demonstration of how fast he can move and so on.. This is why Plohl won the championship. He is less of an acrobat and more of a dancer. To me this just seems empty. I don't see a couple, I see two people dancing.

Of course this style of dancing might appeal to others. We all have our personal tastes after all.

Why does he shout in the beginning? Shouting isn't included in latin dancing, right? And it sounds weird. And this isn't latin dancing. This is weird showing off! And the male is supposed to support his partner, not steal the spotlight from her. GOD!

It seems like what a lot of male dancers are trying to do these days is to show off their own technical skills rather than letting their girls shine. All those pretty girls with amazing legs and beautiful dresses shouldn't spend the whole time watching their partners shout and do crazy things with their legs. I support innovation, but I think this is going too far. It's just not the way it's supposed to be, I'm sorry.

@MrFernandezFdez: I agree completed. Goffredo is upstaging Anna. He needs to tone down his dancing and allow Anna to be the focus of their partnership. If he does their partnership will be strong and successful otherwise it will have little success and eventually fail. In Latin dancing the woman must be the focus, the picture, and the man the frame. It appears Goffredo is trying to be both, not good.

I can't enjoy watching this couple dance ... it's not Latin!!! Unfortunately some of the "newer" judges out there are marking ths drivel. It's very hectic and frenetic! I blame the modern music that is sometimes danced to also ... give me good 'ol Winter Gardens Orchestra anytime ... then put this cha cha with it and see how rubbish it really is ...

@Georgo42 I disagree about brilliance of his technique. His Latin technique is NOT so advanced at all. What stands out, however, is the speed of his feet.

I agree,that's not true latin dancing. I don't want to see something like this in a world latin final. I really don't want to critizise the judges, i'm sure all of them have great competence. But why in hell did they vote Goffredo in the final? What is the reason? That i would like to understand.
