  • looks brave to me i meen thats one hell of a drop hes backing up to and looks hard to rip whats the smoke comming from the ripper ? is that friction ? looks like a tough days work good job good video

  • @jeryl68 thanks for the kind words buddy. the smoke is sillicone dust & caused by friction & is not good for the lungs. & yep it is a hard days work & the bosses & owners have no idea what so ever how tough it is on the operators.

  • Great Vid. Man that's got to be hard on gear

  • great video! the best sound i've heard from D11

  • Compact Design = Bulldozer

  • Keep up the good work.

  • I want to get out of the office and drive stuffs like this in a mine :(

  • This guy really knows what he is doing and it is a pleasure to watch a true operator that takes pride in what he is doing. Great ripper angle, putting the point to work, acts like a wedge not a plow. Plowing is great for tough soil not rock. Most of all, this work tears up a machine and with an operator that doesn't care you will have tons of Cat scrap iron in no time. But with this guy, I would say this dozer will be aroung for a long time. Go Man Go...

  • @busajohnny thanks for the kind words buddy. he's as good as anyone iv seen ripping hard shit. i personally laugh to myself wen i see so called gunns rip tear bust & get nothing done trying to rip with the shank out & with blunt boots.

  • Dear God ALMIGHTY... That there is some daygum GREAT Cat-porn...!

And they daggum Eddie The Operator, tha'guy... Eezus! Sriously-DAY-AMN...!

  • I could listen to that engine all day!

  • I've ran D9H and D10 in poorly shot sandstone. Ripped with the D10. This has got to be the toughest application for heavy equipment there is. Ripping is harder on the operator (and machine) than pushing. Eddie seems to know what he is doing. Very little track spin, engine is under a load, and some big stuff is being ripped loose. Eddie's not afraid of the edge either. Stay safe. Great video, thanks.

  • @c931D9 thanks for the kind words. it takes a skilled operator to do this kind of work & make the boss a dollar but boy isnt their some cowboy operators [drivers] out there .

  • eddie seens to be good steady lad on ripper this is thompsons d11n they sold this in 2008

  • Great video, thats one of the best ripping videos ive seen, good camera work.

  • @buckshottfonk thanks buddy.

  • who needs blasting when you have an 11 and a Cat skinner...

  • nothing beats the sound of a 3508 under load!!!

  • @bigfranco87 got to agree with you there. thanks mate.

  • Hi, I am into all things earth moving and your video shows a detail of ripping I have not seen before, thanks.

    mrbluenun

  • @mrbluenun thanks for the kind words & subbing buddy.

  • wich is tougher between cat and komatsu dozers?i see one komatsu back there.i know you are a specialists in dozers...:)

  • @florin171 thanks for subbing mate.the komatsu 375 in the background is mine & is no match to the D11.answer to your question is a tough 1.komatsu 375 v D10N&R & 475 v D11 I would give the nod to the komatsu for ripping but CATS are faster pushing dirt & scrapers.

  • @13frontrow i guess they set up for one or the other.? like the gearing in the planetaries etc......

  • @Mattessj you could have a point there komatsu definately has a lower 1st gear.

  • great video

  • @calaverex thanks mate.

  • Outstanding close up ripping action

  • @generationll thanks buddy.

  • Frontrow, I hope the bosses there at TRN understand what a top notch OPERATOR they have employed at your quarry Bud. The money he is saving them in running costs is huge. My old man would have hired him in a heartbeat and he had very high standards and didn't see the funny side of dickheads on his machines. Your videos are awesome mate

  • @brocparsons thanks again buddy. got more coming.

  • @brocparsons excellent nick name u got there to buddy.

  • Mate what ever that company is paying Eddie ,they should double it. He is saving them twice that in track gear alone. He is one of the best rippers of the hard shit I have seen. P.S Is that at East Kurrajong Frontrow?..Great vid Bud

  • @brocparsons thanks for the kind words buddy i agree with you 100%. ive been around for a while now & seen a lot & eddie ranks up with the best ive seen in hard shit. quarrys at brownlow hill just west of camden & is owned by TRN group.

  • well mr best iv apologised on my channel to you but ur either to guttless or ignorent to acnowledge it. UR BLOCKED.

  • @13frontrow Now that's some hard ripping. Good video...close to the action.

  • @JimHowDigsDirt thanks buddy.

  • There you go would be ripping operators, exactly how it should be done, throttle control and skill especially working on that edge, super nice touch getting the parked up Komatsu in the frame frontrow!!! Sounds like some exhaust work coming up soon too

  • thanks for the kind words gavin. exhaust sounds mean ay.

  • the smoke is silicon dust which is not good for the lungs. is caused by friction.

  • he is ripping sandstone which can be extremely hard. is mainly crushed to 75mil & sold as a road base.

  • sorry buddy i thought ud see the funny side of it.

  • What is he ripping? Why is it smoking?

  • lol sure ur not tina turner with a name like that.

  • wow nice vid!
