Must be the 883c. It has the spoked front wheel and forward mounts. Or you wasted money buying this stuff when it comes on the custom.

@journeyquest1 Hi it isnt an 883c it is an 883L. The wheels are the original wheels that were on it from the showroom where i purchased it brand new.

i have a 2009 model and been advised that the hypercharger will work but the butterfly's will stay constantly open

Hi, Mine is a 2007 injection sporster, so I assume it is exactly the same set-up as yours. The hyper charger is Kuryaken.

Your mom and boyfriend have shit for brains. If you get a motorcycle as your first vehicle you won't live long enough to see a second one. This is coming from a very experienced rider. Start off in a car if you want to live to be an adult.

Sportsters are utter shit. Mine has rusted so bad Ive gotta get it all repainted. The rear mudguard rusted, the chrome fell off the rear wheel, mirrors bubbled, the laquer on forks failed and the alloy corroded, the chainguard rusted, front rim rusted through etc. My Sportster is an 04 and is kept in a garage. The metal has only one coat of (shit) paint with no primer. It has no chance against UK weather. Come on HD pull your fucking socks up

@Badassbikerbastard this is stupid... i have a 98 with no rust except for a tad on the swingarm which i got off my arse to strip prime and hit up with a rattle can to fix.  as for the other nonsense about chrome bubbling and paint with no primer that just ins't true... not to mention if you're too lazy to wipe your bike down it will rust, it's made of metal.

I live on a island and our air is salt laden. Never had a problem with the Sportster I use to have. They are great bikes. Sounds to me you just neglected your bike.

I've though about doing Nitrus but dont want the extra engine wear. Also mine is super fast was is with new cams+SS super E. I constantly have to look at speedometer and slow down so I dont loose my liscence.

883's are made well, I own a 2005 883low. It still has the same battery and components and she treats me like a king. All I do for her is change her oil and filter every 1000 miles. (one screwdriver and an oil filter wrench and 20 minutes of my time, that's all she asks from me).

Don't go to the dealer for an oil change, you'll get raped. If you're broke, buy a fram ph6022 oil filter, 3 qts of 4cycle oil and unscrew 1 screw. eeeeaassssy! (the oil pan is optional, a tupperware bowl works fine.

asshole didnt take responsibility for it and cops and apartment manager are no help, so got away with it...

well anyone who rides an 883 is a woman unless they have it bored to a 1200 which I have seen done which is quite cool, but the sporster models are relativley gay, its harleys way of competiting with the lower end models other companys make............. its not a real "harley"

Thanx for the vid and the response. The video response is the modification inspired by yours. I love the speedo relocated and I dropped the headlight down. Looks a lot better. I added forward controls so I am ready for the Short shot Vance in hines. Next will be the supercharger and the NOS.. Thanx again for your vid. Was there any modifications needed to relocate speedo?

Would love to know, the brands and parts you used, exhuast etc. and your basic setup info... Do you have a copy of your dyno?

I am about to have my sporty Machined to a 1440cc or 88cubic inches.

Thanks for the comments. The speedo has simply been dropped. Here goes: 8inch risers with 28inch 8degree rake drag bars. Vance & Hines short shots ehuasts with a vance and hines fuel pak super chip control unit. (fuel pak for fuel injection only). Ive have spent many many hours sourcing all parts on ebay. Should be easier for you because your already in the states.

got stopped & warned once myself for my plate,bought a pressed out black&silver plate from e-bay they look old skool,was told to buy a northern ireland plate,quite cheap&confuses the age of the harley to the untrained eye,less chance of being bothered.

Thanks for you comment. The hyper charger made a slight difference, but unless you change the exhaust and get somekind of fuelpak its hard to tell. When I did change those items it felt like the power had doubled!
