That means tea break while the crew get what DRVircavs said (his support for the lower right leg that is attached to the ground) and then "Lights, camera, ACTION!". Now he does the trick and crew film public. There will be people, who didnt see them set up, that will walk by in the next 5 min. Theres your hook. You will get a crowd!

@anorthunbloke ...then, when there is a shot wide enough (lots of cuts in this edit!) to see his feet, keep looking at the ground infront and behind him. It ,gradually, looks different. As he leans further back, a shadow appears more noticable around the edges of what looks like 2 pavement/sidewalk slabs (infront & behind him), and to top it off, you don't see him walk away. Just fairly tight shots of his head and shoulders. Shoot for 15+ min, you will get your reaction shots from the public.

I have a thery which I think stands up well (excuse the pun). Earlier in the day, he has arranged a support in the floor which is hinged and extends up the leg and bends one way. At some point he places his trouser leg over it and proceeds to lean back with the support giving him the ability to look like he is leaning back. As it hinges one way, all he has to do is shift his weight forward and stand back up.
