  • Yanis Varoufakis is a socialist.

  • I want to be in her vag... sorry.

  • Cause & Effect: as usual, more emphasis is on the effect, rather than the cause. Here's the "skinny:" we are witnessing the vainful attempt to salvage a rapidly imploding, destruction and failure of the global fiat currency by central banks and governments around the world and why? Well, it's a huge money maker for the banks and governments retain the ability to gain power, strength and control over their respective citizens. This is what happens when you intervene into a free market.

  • Yanis needs to read some Bob Higgs to figure out what actually happened during the great depression.

The government is not capable of fixing the issues, just creating and extending them.

  • Is this a warning of a collapse happening VERY SOON?

  • Smart, funny, and beautiful.

    WILL YOU MARRY ME LAUREN?

    :)

  • I would like to taste Lauren,,, just to see if she is my flavor

  • Atlantic??? Greece has never seen Atlantic

  • could it be "regime change" that is causing the people with surpluses from infesting?

And the "austerity logic", yes, when your GDP is heavily dependent on government "stimulus" and when that stimulus ends, you'll revert back into a recession. Interest rates will rise and when they do, kiss all the insolvent banks goodbye -again.

The sooner we cut and stop the regime change, the sooner the system can fix itself.

  • I think the only way to solve Europe's problems is fiscal cooperation and more control on the PIIGS. You can't ask german savers' money if southern european countries(including my Italy) run double digit budget deficits and lose billions in tax evasion!

Varoufakis is only partly right. Italians, greeks, spanish can't elect responsible governments, it's a fact.

  • @sabu85 Control on the GIIPS using growth is possible. Austerity is deadly and it will lead to bad results for the world economy.

  • @Nubx8 i'm not advocating austerity! i think more government spending, low interest rates and inflation are the solution in the short to medium term. more control is needed after the crisis. that's why i said the greek guy is only partly wrong.

  • @sabu85 Im sorry if i misunderstood you. I agree with your thesis.

  • @sabu85 Knowing that money is borrowed into circulation, How do you pay your debt if all your money is borrowed? It kinda voids your "solution" doesn't it?

  • @MrFmmcosta

The fiat currency system is a DEBT based system which is why all fiat systems in the past have failed. We're all taught that leverage is good. Governments are leveraged to the point of unsustainability. It's all about the debt and being in debt causes the proverbial "kicking the can down the road" until there's no more road left. Eventually, the "piper will get paid."

  • @frmkt

you are incorrect. THIS fiat system is debt based. a fiat system isn't necessarily a debt based system. This is a debt system because money is borrowed into circulation and not because of fiat money.

  • @twin1010101010 We'll see ;)

  • I'm not really keen on everyone fawning over my girl. She's a professional and my future wife. Deal with it and keep your eyes to yourself...and that goes for you too pervy cameraman (only sometimes though).

  • Lost respect for "economist" Yanis Varoufakis for saying that without the politicians bailing out the banks in 2008, we would have gone back into the stone-age. WRONG! It's with this type of silly thinking why we are in trouble and why Greece and the Euro-zone will slowly go down the sh*thole. He should know better than that, but I'm sure he has an icon of Lord Keynes he prays to ever night he goes to bed asking for more and more government intervention and stimulus packages.

  • Lauren is a class act.

  • Wow. What amazing insight. The solution to Europe's problems is to take all the money from the fiscally responsible countries and give it to the bankrupt losers. Great idea!! That should do it. Oh wait. That's just what they've been doing for two years and it's just made things worse. Huh. Oh. I get it. Greek dude wants his pension secured by German savers. Ah. Makes sense.

  • look at you so happy, that a girl, you seem to glow...

  • Bankerocracy or Bankruptocracy. Very interesting new words to derive from this video.

So many guests and so many theories on what to change in order to make the system work.

What is your preferred "Solution", Lauren? Or can you as host of the show really stay neutral?

  • @twin1010101010 Leave my future wife alone! Any1 knows if she's married. I'm going to get rich off the market next year so I can have that beautiful, smart, empathetic woman TO MYSELF!

  • Lauren, use "Odious Debt" as your Word of the Day.

If you want more info on the EU - causes of the debt crises, possible solutions, Odious Debt

    watch - "Debtocracy"

You can view it here: watch?v=qKpxPo-lInk

  • @rdboy10 That's a great idea. odious debt. I will mark that one down to do soon. Thanks!

  • yay more police state, more bank bailouts!

seriously though, you need to have more austrian economists on your show, and less socialists.

  • IMO, that was no snub at all

  • this varoufuckis seems like a globalist shill. fuck this cunt - don't invite him back ! more central anything is the last thing we need.

  • WHY is capital not coming into Greece? Labor laws create a DISINCENTIVE. If wages were lower and labor laws were flexible - why would a company not put money to work there?

  • If you hvae savings with nowhere to go, buy some Credit default swaps on Greece

  • Wrong ? its a confidence problem

  • I usually like this guest but I have to say that I really don't agree with him: government is not necessary. The whole notion of forcibly taking money from the productive and giving it to the non-productive is immoral. Government is notoriously bad at picking winners and losers and should return to simply organizing group services.

By the way Lauren, your toned-down look today is much better!

  • @PCMontreal So who runs the show? Do tell us. maybe you are thinking of a corporation. Who controls the military? Who legislates? Also, define who is productive and who is not. Does the plumber who works 12 hours a day fixing your shitter get less (or more) than a financial advisor who sits on his ass making commissions on churning portfolios? Prove your notion with measurements. How do you measure production in your meritocracy?

  • @bullshit3118 As Max Keiser puts it, "the Economy is merely PART of the Ecology" and NOT the other way round-- similarly, the guest Yanis is merely pointing out that "the Economy/Market is merely PART of a Political System/Structure" and NOT the other way round.

Fundamentalist Capitalists are "perverting" Capitalism by treating it as social system, just like the way "Social Darwinism" arose from Darwin's biological theory -- by not really bothering to read/understand Adam Smith, Darwin, etc.

  • @ApocalypticAang I love max keiser, but free markets have NEVER existed and he should know better. Adam Smith knew this too. This isnt a game of chess for little boys, this is the game of the jungle. Where people can hide in ambush and kill you and steal your money. Stop using the popular media ragging on the word "social" and get to the facts. I dont like mixing my facts with political or social subjectivity. As Marx would do: follow the money and cut the bullshit magic tricks.

  • @bullshit3118 Its called the free market. I know we haven't actually seen a free market yet, but a true free market, would settle these matters: government wouldn't be stealing the plumber's hard earned money to give to corrupt bankers thus scewing the system in favour of the uber rich. Real productiveness would flourish as consumers and the greater population vote would with their dollars: i,e, good money drives out bad, not the current bad money driving out the good.

  • @PCMontreal Ok so the "free market" you describe is a theory, right? You admit it yourself. Its mostly because businessman can't behave themselves and they do what they do now--make monopolies and take control of the government regulators. Actually, NONE of the regulations or laws are enforced. It's a "free market "system for the rich. So how's that been working out for ya? You keep going on about the same old anti-soclialist fox news story...but who replaces the government. Answer!

  • @PCMontreal What will the free market with no government do if someone steals from you or kills you? Anarchy is hardly a solution to anything.

  • @MrFmmcosta

a free market does not ignore laws of murder and theft. in a free market, if a company gains a reputation of not providing the goods & services it boasts to offer, then that entity will quickly cease to exist as a business because it will lose it's customer base which has an exponetial effect due to the loss of referrals and repeat business. Anarchy is hardly a concern in a free market.

  • @frmkt

my question was, what will the free market, with no government, do if someone steals from you? Government is needed, not BIG government.

  • To hell with the bloody Euro and to hell with the EU, ich bin Deutscher und will meine D-Mark wieder haben !!! Basta !!!

  • @calisse245 Oh my lord, you forgot hail hitler. Yep, the moneymakers wanna send our ass back to the stone age.

  • good show guys

  • This woman is putting me into heat!!

  • Wow, the Merovingian really was smart, and not just pretentious. Still, my fave character of The Matrix b/s Morpheus.

  • great show as usual.

  • Damn; I just got called out by Lauren Lyster. She is up for the challenge. That's what's up. If you have any ideas or topics you have not heard Lauren cover and would like to see covered with the Socratic Method, hit me up. I will be brainstorming over holiday cocktails this weekend.

  • @withnonamemarketing hmm., what about free trade?

  • @withnonamemarketing We are excited to see what you come up with noname. If you are as good as you say you are, we can have you on for a live hit

  • @RTProducer Glad we have this all in writing. Ha! Working on it now

  • I kept on hearing her say Yanis Varoufuckis

  • Comment removed

  • Dr. John Von Neuman, creator of the Store Program Concept for the computers we now have, conceived the idea in a bar drinking beer wee hours of the morning.

  • Love how this guy keeps his focus on the real problem: American banks. This is all a bunch of hogwash to cover up the obvious problem here. If the Fed did not have the massive military surplus, we would indeed go "back in the stone age." With no backing for the dollar and the digital creation of money, they can keep this up as long as they can pay for the guns to threaten us into submission.

  • @bullshit3118 most big banks are multinational, they have no nationality. Deutsche, UBS, Credit Suisse First Boston (!), BNP Paribas, etc, are all intricately tied to Goldman, Merrill, Morgan Stanly, JP Morgan, BOA, etc. If not through Credit Default Swaps (which are secret, still), then through various other things.

  • @DoBrigh Do! I already knew that but thanks for the reminder :)

  • Greek to me!, but Wow, Laura is lookng good.

  • Keep it up Capital Account! As someone who also loves to debate I would absolutely debate Lauren, problem is that I agree with most of Lauren's opinions.

  • Damn she reads these comments, I feel like a creep, Lauren you'd still retain hotness in a burlap sack, here's one for you... What's your thoughts on the NWO do you believe? on the fence, great show!

  • Austerity is nothing more then bailing them out!

Will you let the NWO-OWN you?

  • This is indeed a great show on RT!

  • Love this show!

People: make it a mission to convert your friends and family still brainwashed by main stream media to outlets like:

  • @AustralianAllTheWay If these are the only places you get your news I hope you wear a tinfoil hat and earthed yourself out. If you don’t you will fry your noggin!

  • @Redpilldown So you watch that fiction show....what's it called again, oh yeah: Fox news, CNN, MSNBC, (insert mass media name).

The ones I've listed happen to be correct 99.9% of the time.

Where do you get your news from then?

  • @AustralianAllTheWay Everywhere! Apart from fox and even then I watch now and again for the lols.

  • @AustralianAllTheWay I am not saying do not watch your suggest list but to be very careful i.e. AJ is a conspiracy monger with so much BS it is hard to pull out the real story’s, The drudgereport is very right wing and love to kiss the Israeli ass..... the only channel I trust/ish is TYT unfortunately they produce a lot of non-news, RT is pretty good on finances. The way I see it is if you rely on just a few channels you become susceptible to their bias.

  • @Redpilldown Alex Jones is right 99% of the time. TYT is a good one too.

PS. Forgot to include judge Napolitano as another one worth watching.

  • @AustralianAllTheWay I used to think judge Napolitano was a good guy but the more you listen closely to what he says the more you realised how biased he is. He tells the truth but only the truth that suits FOX

  • @Redpilldown Cmon mate, now you're just being silly.

  • @AustralianAllTheWay Have you read the art of war or similar.....The judge helps the corps to achieve lesson 101, Divide and conquer. By this I mean he constantly puts the government down especially were regulations are concerned thus helping to achieve foxes agenda of putting a wedge in-between people and government and distracting from the real issue. He does not lie and the ruse is very subtle.........it is foxes best con.

  • @Redpilldown Haha...so you are saying we anyone telling the truth is on the enemies side?

Good one, no wonder America is screwed....the majority of people are morons.

  • @Redpilldown Exactly right on TYT...it's the most honest. It was a million times better when it was 3 hours and they didn't try to focus on Ana. We have enough bubbleheads trying to be starlets, and frankly, it drains a lot of TYT's cred with all the "hip" n sex stories. Haven't had a chance to see the Current show yet.

  • @MrSinnisterUrge The new TYT current show is a bit rough around the edges, the camera work is very poor and I don’t think they have taken to much though in its new persona....hopefully they will work it out.

My only real criticism is they have involved Al Gore straight away, they needed to get some creditability with their new audience first.

  • @Redpilldown They're not really polished enough to do it w/out Gore anymore. I mean, they watered themselves down a lot to go mainstream, and I was frankly surprised Cenk decided not to sell out to MSNBC. I know he saw what they done to Keith and knew they are eventually going to either make him corporate or the scapegoat...but they have been really trying to sell themselves. Al will help them grow their audience faster. People call him boring but he's the smartest dude pretty much ever.

  • @Redpilldown that's right, there is bias and disinformation everywhere, so variety of opinion is key

  • @Redpilldown I, personally, was completely turned off by them when they reported on life-like robots being used for sex when nowhere in the original video or article did they talk about sex or anything close to it. It was a technological break through that they butchered.

  • @Redpilldown U R missing the point, you cannot trust any of them. They'll are controlled and just provide the info they're allowed. They each serve their purpose for the agenda and yet all full of half truths. if you really want the truth about all this then you need to research it yourself to piece it together. There's a lot of good info in the POtHS torrents that can be downloaded for free. They buy the info and give it away so it's not stealing either.

  • @Redpilldown I didn't even want to get started on Drudge. Wow, right?

  • @MrSinnisterUrge wow meaning its worthwhile? i havent checked it out yet

  • @natritious1 No way is it worthwhile..Drudge is essentially a smarter Rush Limbaugh, and I'm pretty sure he's where Rush pulls his news. Call him the Right Wing's Smoking Gun. And yeah, he and alot of other Jewish conservatives wants us to get a bunch of our people killed because they refuse to share a little piece of land with a few Arabs, or just build a big border and let them have their own state..and just calling this BS out, they have made it the most controversial thing ever.

  • @AustralianAllTheWay Alex Jones is a known racist, and extremely offkilter when it comes to conspiracy theories. I know Australians don't have much racial sensitivity, but try to direct people to sites that have people that really want to make the world better..not just comfortable FOR THEM.

  • @MrSinnisterUrge So you are generalising that all Australians are racist?

Because I live on a peace of dirt surrounded by sea you think that means we all think the same? I really don't get that logic.

Alex Jones is right 99% of the time and no he is not a racist. You are clearly either a troll or just a moron as proven with your comment generalising about Australian's.

  • @AustralianAllTheWay Not at all, it's just well known that you lot could care less about it is all. Not generalizing, this is well known.

  • @AustralianAllTheWay I tried giving AJ the benefit of the doubt, until the London riots, where he kept beating up the point that there were Blacks robbing and assaulting people. I can track down the audio. I hate trolls, btw. Didn't meant to start crap, but AJ really pisses me off now.

  • @MrSinnisterUrge It ended up becoming that in the end. I have family in the UK that said it was the racial minority that went nuts (rightfully so as a black kid was killed by the establishment).

I'm not saying you have to agree with Alex 100% but he tries his best and is exposing the criminals better than anyone else out there. If people don't like him they should start their own research and see how hard it is to uncover the truth when the world is run by criminals.

  • @AustralianAllTheWay EVERYONE was looting. Unfortunately, Blacks both naturally and through their own actions evoke the most attention. I do think the Brits just want a racially pure state, but they allowed all of those West Indies to live there, and they have to try to coexist. It seems funny how the Black race is pretty much the lower class of every country they live in..with a few exceptional members. You almost can say it's a global conspiracy based on color.

  • @MrSinnisterUrge Which I don't get b/c the biological intelligence thing has been long debunked. I think instead of subjugating them, from what I've seen, they're pretty emotionally damaged, and really act like people suffering BDP....they're pretty traumatized from all the racism....instead of trying to FInal Solution them for not being able to keep up...or give them food to live or whatever instead of hiring or educating...why not get them some mental therapy. Calm down those emotions.

  • @MrSinnisterUrge "naturally" ....mate, humans are programmed by society, media and the rest of their environment. Essentially no social action is natural.

Black people have been put down for for years by white oppressors. It was only 30 years ago the way black people were treated in America was accepted as normal, where as white people have had an easier path to success for centuries. That's a fact.

Colour of skin means nothing, it's 3 strains of genetic dna out of the billions.

  • @AustralianAllTheWay Wow dude, it's rare to have someone be that honest, but you're correct. I'm just wondering if their constant tramatic and survivalist state has caused some permanent wounds that we tend to allow to gangrene. I mean, yes, there is a lot of beauty in hip hop and all of the dance music, sports, and other ways they entertain us, but we're talking about 1 percent excelling (sorry for the reference). I'm thinking of the 99 percent that at least 20 percent are maladjusted to

  • @MrSinnisterUrge The point of being sociopaths and are in prison, another 30 percent on the fence due to hivethink and the influence of the awful 20 percent, coupled with their insane worship of a god given to them through slavery w/out critical thought. Their beauty and anchor is in how much they follow their emotions..again, when put into entertainment, it's a sight to behold, but when they react viscerally to stimuli, coupled with a system that never wanted them..all they get is shot.

  • @MrSinnisterUrge Jailed, alienated, and subjugated. The "Law and Order" politicans continue to employ the Southern Strategy to keep the Whites on edge and as you say "having the easier path". When slighted, the Blacks uncalculated emotional expression scares people instead of garners empathy or sympathy..but there has to be a better way, cause again, 500 years of this dynamic and in EVERY country to which they live...they are on the bottom. This is NOT coincidence. But it must change.

  • @MrSinnisterUrge Because as we've seen through the Redlining of the 1950's and now the Fannie Mae banking crisis....people in power (MONEY) use them, exploit their attempts to join the middle class with subprime mortgages, White flight, "liar loans" (which enabled White housing speculators as much as it did the few minorities on the financial fringes), and they are being used to cover the sinking of our economy and the global economy as the aftershocks of the banking crisis went around world.

  • @MrSinnisterUrge With the MSM feeding this frenzy with always trying to connect them to welfare, instead of really delving into the story about how RACISM was used to exploit them, then foreclose when they couldn't pay the exploding subprime ARMS, then sell the toxic assets to Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac cause they were gov't subsidized until it sank the economy...AND THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING!! That's the evil..but again, we can focus and denigrate the victims, b/c they are behind still.

  • @MrSinnisterUrge Just as we done in the London riots...just like we always do. We are all humans, and it's obvious the Blacks can provide a more substantial contribution than rounding out morning divorce/talk shows and cop shows. We have to start to round this out..b/c we can't act like Human Resource people don't see this and this projection makes it harder to get them hired, which perpetuates this same behavior as they stay poor and emotionally malnourished. We have to pick the chick or egg

  • @MrSinnisterUrge If your family/skincolour/race/religion persecuted it can take a generation or two to get over it....sometimes longer as seen with religion.

The world is run by much less than 1%, it's more like .00001%.

It's sad that 7 billion people are run and influenced by this psychopathic minority you seek power and domination. Their strategy is to divide and conquer us. Remember this next time you think of commenting on race, religion, socio economic status, etc.

    United we prosper!

  • @AustralianAllTheWay I liked it all but your last sentence. Again, read all of what I said. This racism is connected with the Housing Crisis. They really need a PR agency, lol. But yeah, I'm too broad to just center on this aspect, but it is an important one. The only way we're going to get to the next level (and despite what all the relgionuts say, there is a level after this depression thats great, we just have to be more like the Dutch and EMBRACE GREEN ENERGY)..is together.

  • @MrSinnisterUrge But again, we are in this global crisis b/c the banks used "liar loans" to try to bet against them, and they bet/hedged against failure/success and a lot of bets, b/c they were so incestuous failed. We bailed out those banks first through Fannie Mae/Freddie until it eventually failed and killed the stakeholders, then we bailed them out with NO TRANSPARENCY..all using the Blacks as "we failed to help THEM!!!!-Home ownership!" So since many Eurobanks had exposure or relied on

  • @MrSinnisterUrge A strong dollar, they started failing...which Wall Street responded to by contracting and killing the growth of a lot of strong companies out of panic of a global depression. It was our banks had an earthquake here, that sent an aftershock to Japan and Europe that caused earthquakes there, and those aftershocks are coming back here to threaten another one. Caused by the banks...rooted in racism. It is ALL connected...trust me..and we need to wake up and end it all.
