@BrandonDyckMusic IN this case the capo is not used as a crutch. If you had to play this song repeatedly, night after night, you would like to play it in the most energy efficient way possible. He's simply eliminating the need to play ONE impractical Bb barre chord....which even with a lot of pressure doesn't resonate as well as with a capo. It's actually improving the sound. He can clearly play barre chord. The capo is a great tool for even the most advanced guitar player.
