I couldn't imagine that Ian makes a so bealtful work for help animals as I saw in the website of his foundation. In Brazil is so hard to protect animals abandoned, there are so many... I have 7 dogs and 1 cat that I've taked from the streets. Here in Brazil, there's no laws that realy protect animals that suffer bad treatment. Hi Ian, I'm wondering about something. Will your foundation create more jobs for Americans who are homeless, unemployed and starving? You don't address those issues in your video. I know it's important to save the animals, but what about the people that have no shelter, jobs, food or a way to stay warm this winter? Don't you think that's important? Ian.S helped the writers of TVDs make a joke of VD when he was in the promo 'CATCH VD' for S2 of the show. I loved him as Boone in Lost but his character Damon has sex with schoolgirls& has murdered a few of them &then jokes that he did it coz he was bored. He was a hero as Boone but Damon is really sick. Damon wants to empty his rotten old balls into his teen brother Stefan's teen girlfriend.

What gets me personally is the fact that he's asking his young and impressionable fans to donate money to his foundation. Given the economy, he should know most Americans aren't as fortunate as he is to have a high-paying job on TV.

Secondly, I do not believe that Ian.S has no control over ethics, everyone has a cutting off point, where they have to say no. I dont think many actors of I.S age would put their name to VD when they know that the audience consists mainly of children: I would not do this for all the money in the world.

What is this bullshit about Ian.S being a 'top Hollywood actor'? He is a TV actor for kids... I would not imagine that he is on a particularly high salary as far as actors go (not that this is the issue, but you brought it up). The fact is TVDs is not even filmed in Hollywood and he has never been in an AList film. If he wants to make a difference, he can set an example by telling the writers that he will never promote and kind of sexually-transmitted disease to children.

Personally, I blame the parents who don't regulate or monitor what their children watch. It's like with TVD, I first got introduced to it by my 13-yr-old niece. I wondered how my sister would allow her daughter to watch such inappropriate stuff on TV. In my view, it's all my sister's fault, not the TVD cast or Ian's.
