@deadtofall666 I went prairie dog hunting last year on a friends ranch. I witnessed a cow step into one of those varmits holes and break its leg. We went nuts. My friend went to town and got some dynamite and we packed all the holes we found with it. Not a bright idea for sure but I do believe we decimated the population of those varmits pretty good. Left a big hole in the ground too.
@MegaMouseSEC haha now that is overkill, now when the cow steps into that its not just going to break its leg but will fall in and not be able to get back out haha
@deadtofall666 we kinda made a mess of the field that is for sure. Took the farmer 3 days and several dozen trucks of dirt to get it straight. But he was glad to get rid of the varmits.
Farmers are just low life and pieces of shit if they don't exploit on innocent cows and other livestock I'm sure these animals are just MUCH LESS LIKELY to trip in prairie dog holes and get a broken leg. Farmers as well as hunters are the best examples of hypocrites because they just want to victimize themselves and justify any killings they seek for pathetic fun. Hunters and farmers they should eat prairie dog shit.
Suzuki..........You made me laugh with this comment. I'm sorry you were raised to be a pussy, but try not to infect other people with your tree hugging, hippy opinions.
Someone is a little emotional....... Go dry your Libral and realize they are just rats that carry disease and wreck farm ground which produces food for you!
Prairie dogs are considered varmints. They carry diseases including bubonic plague. Cattle will often break their legs due to the holes created by the dogs. Wyoming and Montana have a serious issue with the number of prairie dogs they have and the negative effects on the land.
your a waste of oxygen but you dont see us trying to shot you now do?? hillbilly's.. you dont see them trying to shot you. i hope they all bite you guys
@sanseiru33 Humans are even worse varmints with all the species these hairless apes are wiping out. I don't count myself, because I'm part of the solution, unlike you people who are part of the problem. Prairie dogs themselves do not carry bubonic plague. They suffer from it by fleas that originally came from other animals. It is an often told myth about them breaking legs of livestock. Do your research like I have for the last 12 years or so.
@AnswersInNature So you've been researching since you were 2 years old? You aren't part of the solution-- if no one hunted, populations would explode and then cause a major die off due to lack of food. Hunters keep the populations in check through regulated hunting. And as for the "hairless apes wiping out species," no species has ever gone extinct through regulated hunting.
@IchMYLACK I've been researching since my teens, actually. If no one hunted, populations won't necessarily explode. The various predator species would take over. I'm not against regulated hunting; just unregulated year-round, pup-orphaning hunting. There are too many so called "varmint" hunters who just do it for the thrill, and then make the rest of the hunters look bad.
You need to bend over, get a firm grasp on your ears, and pull until you hear a loud "POP". That will be your brain housing group releasing from your 4th point of contact.
Try it with "They ruin the farmland". You may not consider this important, but to farmers, who actually have to make a living out of their land, this is quite an issue.
they should pay us to hunt prairy dogs and all varmits

This comment has received too many negative votes show
it is just a farmers myth that prairie dogs cause cattle injuries.prairie dogs are the ones that have to worry about getting the plague, not humans.

@5korry I'm a hairless ape that's part of the solution to the ongoing destruction of our native wildlife. I'm not part of the problem like you guys.

Do you guys eat the prairie dogs? If so, good. If not, then why shoot them? Just wondering.
