I believe it's a supercharger. My buddys got a geadrive on his 454, and you can DEFINITELY tell the difference between a geardrive and a supercharger, but they both sound good to me.

It's a blown 383. Just got the freshen-up done, and he's tuning it now. Changed the cam just a little and added alcohol/water injection to mellow it out a bit :-) He promises a new vid sometime soon, hopefully on the dyno.

Well, folks, looks like we waited too long for the freshen-up. After 8 years of HARD driving, it dropped oil pressure. The new engine is being worked up now, and should be finished soon. I made Keith (the truck's owner) promise to get another vid ASAP, so stay tuned. Since this isn't my truck, I don't have the answers to all your questions... but thanks for watching!

A friend actually owns the truck. The exhaust is Flowmaster, 3" pipes. Engine is a 383 with Eagle rotating assembly. The whine is the blower, not Pete Jackson. We used a Cloyes Hex-Adjust for timing setup. I don't remember the brand of blower, but have asked him to post info about it.

He had planned to freshen it, but started another project instead. That will be a small-inch LT-1 based toy. Stay tuned for more info on that one (Still in the planning stage now).
