Seems if reason is truth, then unreasonable emotion can only serve to add discord to that truth.
Clearly no one wants to live without emotion but lets try to keep it out of decisions. Emotional decisions and reactions are usually the terribly made ones.
Lets let emotion do its part where it is called for, and reason do what it was meant to do. That is make decisions and decipher truth.
Id much rather have reason than emotion.

You are absolutely not wrong! We should however try to minimize that effect as much as we can.
Emotion can skew the truth, but clearly you are right.
