moowykx250 it isnt he intercooler its the engine letting on pressure and think of a bike pump if u put ur finger ovrthe hole it puts force on ur finger when u let ur finger off it releases the pressure theres a thing called a blow off valve that makes that noise nd ppl shorten the capacity of it and it makes that noise more often but thats more of an attention sorta thing a non shortened blow off valve sounds mint but u really gotta work ur engine hard but its turbo nd i dnt like turbo that much

That noise is the absence of a blow off valve it is the sound of the boost being made by the turbo going thru the intercooler and back out the turbo.

one of the best f6/xr6 doses ive hurd so farr..more vidss :)..and can someone explain y vls with t3s dose louder and go for longer than xr6/f6 with gt40s??...and no replys that contain (CAUSE VLS ARE DOSE KINGSS) or such lolll...take it easy people :)

Longer spool times required to get these things to make boost. Depending on cmpressor size and exhaust sizing, if its bigger it wont come on to boost till later.

Wereas with my VL it makes good boost just over 2 and a half grand. Thats why they seem louder.

Hey mate, what boost are you running here? and what pipe is it?

its running 16psi at 3000rpm and drops to around 12. It's just a 90 degree steel pipe straight off the front of the turbo with a pod filter on the end of it. I took it off though, too much lag from sucking hot air in from the engine.
