  • I tell you what. These guys took a shot at gettin it done. They didn't have a board meeting to explore the possible solutions.....They took a shot. Move until they throw dirt on ya. This country was built with guys like that.

  • I ripped these guys before. I was by the book. Until I realized all these political chickenhawks took the fun out of my job. Being loud and living on the edge used to be a badge of honor before these panty waists came to town. The political parasites are to blame.

  • what a bunch of dumbass cajun idiots.

  • Coonass's

  • ahahahahahahahahahahhaahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahaha!!!!!

  • hello out there tie down the damn barge!!!!!!! then carefully push a load on it

  • ? ......how did he "caust" it?, he was tring to hold the barge and the dozer pushed it away from him. The barge starts moving before he picks up the bucket.

  • that hyundai guy was like fck im outta here

  • Watch carefully. The yellow excavator was anchoring the barge to the shore. The excavator released and that allowed the barge to move.

  • The smartest dude on the site is in the yellow Hyundai excavator, when he sees this circus start going south he turns his little machine around and gets the hell out of dodge!! XD

  • @ARMORSCREWS The Smartest???? He caust it!

  • ...see what happens when more than ONE white-helmet shows-up on a work-site!!

  • The loudest person there is a Black guy, who NEVER shuts up! Does this have anything to do with race? NO! somebody decided that they were in charge but did not know what they were doing. What went wrong was that the dozer pushed the barge, you can see this where the barge jumps right before the dozer moves back.

At that point everything, including the mouth, needed to stop since the situation had changed an a most drastic way.

Nothing about union or race, just a bit of very bad management.

  • @GR8PHD you answer a funny post with a personal attack? Eat shit and die fucktard. There, you made me do that. Feel better?

  • lol you beaners are fucking hilarious

  • I Love the forthought of the guy in the Yellow loader at 0.21...He's like...Fuck this...I'm outa here..

  • my bad bro...I got YOUR back.

  • I know union donkeys and scab donkeys. What's the f-in dif in the field? You get my back and I got yours.

  • These guys are idiots who dont know wtf they are doing. Might as well just let the rig crawl into the ocean.

  • Deck Donkeys. Smartest on earth just ask em. 2 minutes of truth for 50 minutes of bullshit. and 2 hrs of actual work for 8 and the gate.

  • you dummies aint smart enough to know you don't know nuthin

  • you guys are SO FUCKED thanks for "what not to do" ya inbread corn suckers

  • the barge wasnt tied to anything

  • Love how the yellow excavator runs off immediately after letting go. Backstabber LOL.

  • If a crane falls off a barge and no one is around does it make a sound.

  • @repairdroid77 do you trust your 6 given senses? When you run a hot bath and reach for your crank....refraction is always an obstacle isn't it Pee Wee?

  • Buba physics, that's about right for Louisiana. Demographics, this is proof of there mentality.

  • Did they rapair the crane later?

  • Well at least they got the boom on the barge. Just the other part now.

  • dumbasses

  • had to watch this a few times. being an equipment operator this is a great video of what to avoid in your career. However, ive seen something no one has commented on. Notice the excavator? The operator is using his bucket to hold the barge in place. I cant tell if HE moves it, or he just cant HOLD it any longer, but the second that bucket curls, the entire barge starts moving away from the bank.

  • @Sodiumreactor It looks like the overload valve snaps on excavator

  • You aint top dog no more.

  • We're out in the field busting our ass and this is what we get for support? A tug skipper who can't push the throttle cause he's afraid to bend a prop? Too lazy to check tides or just skittish about the sounds of stones bouncing off the hull. This Capt is BULLSHIT.

  • I wish they all died. I sure as hell wouldnt wanna work for any of them.

  • Knock on wood no one got killed. But those white hats outta have a bullseye on em after this stunt.

  • Ya you guys look like a monkey fucking a football. This might be the video response echo boards but I'm gonna speak my mind cause these guys are working in my life long profession and shit smearing a bad name for the rest of us. These guys are hack newbie's and should be avoided. Get in touch with a reputable marine contractor before this happens to you.

  • Next on lucky RED NECKS. "TOO STUPID TO LIVE"! Watch a bunch of good ole boys cheat death through shit luck. Dumb ass people too stupid to live. Get some snacks and grab a seat.

  • Must have been a rough Mexican wave that moved the barge !lol

  • Yeah, babe!

  • we just finished rebuilding and loading a 4100 mantiowoc on a barge last night there are so many things that were done wrong in this video what ever company did this should be shutdown permenatly

  • Only in Mexico!!

  • whatta dumb fucks ...... 4 or 5 idiots fucking operator's mind.... that's what happens ..... sad situation

  • Well, if those guys are union workers they'll probably blame this on management.

  • Hey these guys unzipped their fly and knew they fucked up. If we can learn from their misfortune maybe we can prevent future accidents. Yeah, these guys are dumb ass's and just don't do that.

  • Well they got the jib on; that's a start!

  • ... Next time, ANCHOR the damn barge. Really, you expect the damn thing to stay in place when your shoving the crane up there using a bulldozer?

  • what a bunch of dum asses

  • Ya know. These guys were just gettin the job done. If we had time to wait on eggheads shit wouldn't get built. They knew the risks and decided to get it done. Even if they had to wreck something.

  • Fuckin dummies

  • Fubar, Snafu, and all stop. Good vid to show the rookies. Don't try this.

  • How many monkeys on that football?

  • Is that a Union crew? That is piss poor shit. Rookie stuff/bottom barrell.

  • Hire some crew with experience the next time. Or save some bucks and hire those donkeys again.

  • Who's the tool pusher on that rig.... What cost to string out anchors vs a new boom?

  • Evan if a stamped engineer signed off on that fucked up move. When you hit that ramp you just fuckin go till that rig is on the barge. Period. And get the idiotts off deck except for one to check tracks. Who are the extras on deck? A bunch of movie extras or howler monkeys? Who are those bufoons? They flapped their arms but flight excaped them.

  • NO WOAH at that point newb. You just fuckin go.

  • Why did that dummy fuck operator hesitate when it was time to GO GO GO?! You don't stop and think when you're half on and half off the barge. That's go time man. You push that travel lever and mash the gas. Don't get halfway up and check your skirt. You just fuckin go newbie.

  • it is very funny because nobody was injured at the moment(surely later when the boss knocks them dump asses black eyes.

the excavator driver is the one who did the main mistake. he opens to early his showel and the ro-ro boat is pulled away by the dozer. however. the one who decided to do it this way is also an idiot.

  • STUCK ON STUID!!!!

  • thats danger close. rush rush rush . almost cost them their lives.

  • Hey Jimmie, go get the hammer and bang this shit out before the boss gets back

  • in my country these are the kings of fools,I`m sorry but my thoughts.

  • You don't earn for your family when you're dead. Your wife ends up fucking someone else and your kids calls someone else Daddy. Your paycheck becomes a one time settlement and you are a ghost. Maybe you are worth more when you're dead. It's not worth cashing in the chips because some white hat is screaming.

  • Face it. Cowboy shit don't fly anymore. Negligence will get you serious jail time. If you are an operator, foreman, project manager, or business owner and flunk some cowboy stunt you will be someone's bitch in jail. The judge doesn't care about your bright idea to save money that failed and got someone hurt or killed. Union flunkys and company hot shots are equally guilty of jeapordizing a job site. Unions won't put a plumber in an operator's seat.

  • @bolon03suckscock u fucking rat when u get hurt or killed on a jobsite because ur boss wants the job done faster don't be complaining about shit u fucking scab u rats make half the money u have no safety whatsoever u are real lucky to get health inscurance and u probully don't even get paid time and a half after eight u proully have to work 20

Hours to get overtime in one day hahahahaha

  • @86yukon You're the perfect example of an uneducated idiot that NEEDS to join a union just to get hired. You're so fucking dumb you would need help filling out a job application. Is there a union for people that help ignorant sonsofbitches like yourself fill out applications? Either you are incredibly dumb, or you had several union representatives gang-raping While you were trying to type your post. I strongly advise you stay loyal to your fellow union fags. Did they teach you how to spell?

  • Nice wet stripe on the operator. The operator shit his pants. He was surrounded by flightless turkeys learning to fly. That was a huge fuck-up.

  • Union companies run a tighter ship. Period. Training and a structured ladder system seperates the gung-ho rookies from the seasoned guys. Pick two out of this....Quick, Fast, or Good. Or fumble through it. Or be a complete chooch and hire border labor. In that case you get what you deserve.

  • Ya know it could have been done right. You guys see it and I see it. Spuds and anchors and someone to put it all together. Thank GOD no one got hurt and the bruises were only pride. The operator had a a wide stripe but so would you in that situation. Beach operations aren't complicated guys. We do beach landings every year so it's everyday for us. You pick the spot and we'll get ya there. We'll sweat the details so you don't have to.

  • Always a pleasure to watch the yanks in action..........

  • Bollards (bits) and ropes were designed for a very good reason.

And it wasn't to keep one well away from the other.

  • @timpovikings True. Beach landings are site specific. We do that and do that well. We have resources to load specific barges to customer specs and do that very well with 40+ years of experience. USA based with UNION workers and no BS. We get it done. PERIOD.

  • good 'ol boys

  • A bunch of dummies running around on deck like howler monkeys. Lucky to be alive. Dumb and dumber. Cap the fuckin foreman. Spud it down or stretch out some anchors. DUH. You rookies get my Irish up. Dumb stunts like that get me pissed.

  • The operator shit his pants. Check it out.

  • Who is the excavator operator? I'd fry his ass. He's the fault. That bucket slipped ofr the bit and caused the whole mess. The reat of you guys are lucky to be alive.

  • @YaterSpoon86 If anything, it's the excavator operator's fault for not telling the foreman to go fuck himself for wanting to secure the barge this way.

  • @HiImCaysE We're field guys and sometimes we try something because we can't wait for some egghead to formulate a print. It's old skool stuff man. We're old skool and watch each others backs while the suit and tie guys make a project simple on paper. When the shit hits the fan we're frontline to blame. But we do what we do everyday cause that's what we do. We are the guys that build. If it weren't for us there would be a tent city. They need us.

  • Give me a fuckin break. Multiple signal people caused this? Shut the fuck up.

  • I'm a licensed crane operator for the past 25 years, a foreman for 8, and a project manager for 5. I don't know everything but I know my shit. That move was fucked up.

  • BTW JAFO means Just Another Fuckin Observer

  • Damn !!!!!! the signal people are lucky to be alive . That boom almost crash them .

They should hire professional crane people to do this. At least to supervise.

  • Who's the toolpusher on that rig? Blame the toolpusher and not the operator. The brass is to blame for that fuck up. Who planned that fucked up move? Was the tug pushing up hard on that barge? Lucky fucks that nobody got killed. You white hard hats are good prison pussy.

  • Disabled comments? Must be a white hat. Got something to hide? If you have nothing to hide why would you disable comments? Prevent this from happening again....let us learn from your fuck up.

  • You got all this iron and manpower and it still gets fucked up? The guys with experience hauled ass cause they knew it was fucked up from the start. You haul ass when the white hats try to fly with those pudgy bodies.

  • the best part is the trackhoe operator saw what was happening and was getting, and the dozer says Nah lets shuve the fucker out to sea!!! lol!!

  • @Draglineoperator How many experienced people saw that coming? All of em!!!!

  • Typical white hard hat embolism. Don't think just rattle that tire in your cage monkey boy.

  • That wasn't a UNION/Non UNION shop error. It wasn't the signal guys or equipment either. It was a lack of prior planning. Blame the foreman, project manager, and all the white ties/hardhats who get paid to use their incredible craniums and paychecks to think this move out before it actually happens.

  • Dobrze, że spadający wysięgnik nikogo nie zabił!

  • Comment removed

  • Hurry!! hurry lets go!! I heard that on the clip, thats what HURRING gets you, and those idiots standing RIGHT UNDER the boom, I'm amazed someone was killed

  • ive never seen such stupid shit in my life...oh yea i did right there

  • Apart from old mate islandcerts bagging the crap outta unions, this is a pretty phenominal accident to have. There are idiots everywhere - whether you pay your dues or not, either way doesn't immunise you from your own or other's acts of stupidity.

If I was the WorkSafe Accident Inspector, or what ever the equivilant is, the first question I would ask is why didn't they prepare a better loading ramp with the excavator?

  • Whoah, those guys on the barge are some fucking lucky. Time to buy some lottery tickets after work I figure!

  • Oh was that close. The guys on the barge must have had angels looking out for them

  • Haha stupid american ass holes ...keep up d good work dumb birdbrains :)

  • @popcorntayto lol theres more vids of worse accidents from other countries too and you call us bird brains? go drink a ale plant you fat fuck

  • Look at the excavator, the driver is like "Oh shit, I´m outta here......." :D

  • When u drive a crane onto a barge, fix it in a secure way with mooring lines or spuds.

U need some horsepower if the tug is your only way to keep it in place.

Looks to me like his tracks were more than half on the barge at some point so if he kept going he would have been fine.

  • Happy Birthday

  • looks like there is a line on it but just too loose, by the time it comes tight buddy's boots are already wet

  • this is what happens when u rush to do something 'dont bother tyin it off, were pullin out as soon as its loaded' fuck that, if thats the way you think ul have grey hair and blow thru alota jobs, spend the extra minute and think it thru. this also could have been 4:45pm on a friday ;)

  • экскаваторщик мудак!!!!!!!!!!! просто даун!!!

  • @TheSub294 Yeah, I was just thinking the same thing!

  • They are SO UNEMPLOYED!!

  • Comment removed

  • Some lucky people on that barge

  • they fuck it all up

  • Jeeebuz, who was in charge?...The Three Stooges?

  • That's a Link-Belt LS108 B, right?

  • The operator could have saved it if that idiot was not standing infront of the crane. I hate morons like that

  • That's a cluster-fuck operation.

  • yes actually i am!!!!

  • идиоты

  • did they do a JSA or take 5 lol!!!!

  • lol, ur not a rio employee too r u? lol.... dumb cunts haha

  • That is the point where ya'll all right and we are just glad nobody got hurt. Are the words to sway anybody responsible for hiring and firing to keep everybody around. Well we are just glad nobody got hurt. All that money for a tower would never cover the price of a life. Problem is that they had the barge loose nothing holding it in place. Dumbasses tried holding it with the trackhoe. The old let's just get the trackhoe here and hold it with that instead of doing all that rope tieing and stuff.

  • KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

  • why wasn't the barge tied off to the dock somehow? expecting the barge to hold position with the motor is stupid in the extreme.

    At least nobody died :P

  • @jacktheripped This is in LA. The same place Katrina hit. Did you see how they handled that. LOL People arn't the smartest down in LA sry to blame the state as a whole.

I agree with ya at the end too, at least nobody died.

  • @jacktheripped It looked like things got real bad when the excavator operator let go of the bit on the corner of the barge. With the crane stabile and flat on the barge the excavator did not look like it's ass end was coming up in the air as a result of the force of the barge wanting to pull away from the bank. It kind of appeared that the excavator operator bailed, for whatever reason, and the barge had nothing but the tug holding it into the bank, which wasn't adequate.

  • @230051745866

Too me it looks like the barge started moving before the excavator rolled his bucket. I think the force was too great and it overloaded the pressure relief valves, and then he tried to get out of the way since he couldn't do anything to help.

The dozer dropped a track off of the ramping just before it went bad. It looks like the crane then stopped, and then the dozer started pushing again without the crane driving forward, thus pushing the barge away. Lack of good signaling...

  • Wow , Ive watched this so many times to see if this is just not a bunch of idiots. It looks like the crane won't move on its own, being pushed by dozer that gets stuck. Why the excavator loses the bit I don't undersatnd. The tug should have been able to keep the barge into shore, should have worked it ahead harder. I've done this dozens of times without that result. Better luck next time fellas!

  • omg have u seen 'Mega Movers' the program were they move massive houses on wheels, and u sometimes see them move them loading the houses onto barges like this, so how hard can it be to it with a crane which is probably a hundred times more easier to move! , honestly what sort of dumbass managed that !

  • Well, at least they got it half loaded.

  • like, when the boom cable does that, stop making it do that!

  • that one guy nearly ate it! you can see him jump back at the last second 0:36 and the boom just misses him!! lucky to still be around.

  • you pay peanuts you only get monkeys fact hello monkeys

  • Union guys are the WORST operators EVER,

  • Hey Fuck You, My Moms Boyfriend Works For The Union, And Hes The Foreman Of The Operation! So Fuck You.

  • tosser

  • Do They Teach You To Cap Every Word In The Special Ed Classes? Maybe If Your Mom Was Fucking A Doctor, He Could Teach You How To Write A Sentence.

  • Your An Idiot Dude, Thats Just How I Type. Your Just Pissed Off Cause My Mom Is A Fucking Nurse And Her Boyfriend Works For The UNion And Makes More Money Than Your Mom Dad And Fucking Granpa Combined, So Shut The Fuck Up.

  • @thinkzero12 are you like 12?

  • Do You Want To Die? Juggalo Mothafucka Getcha Neck Split. HAHAHA

  • @thinkzero12 Insane clown posse is so 1990's I heard they were all gay cocksuckers

  • So You Do Want To Die? And Hey, It's Haters Like You Who Put Us In The Spotlight And Make Us More Famous, So Think Before You Hate Motherfucker, Cause I LOVE HATERS! JUGGALO FOR LIFE BITCH! WICKID CLOWNS WILL NEVER DIE!!!!!

  • @thinkzero12 blah blah blah how original using other peoples words

  • Jesus, now the kids a whigger , life sure ain't fair is it.

  • Just because your mama's getting banged by the foreman like a screen door in a hurricane don't mean he can operate a crane.

You keep peeking through the crack in the bedroom door and some day you'll be a crane operator too.

  • Smart Americans1

  • Brits Are Faggots.

  • build a trestle and spud the barge....

  • "Ah...boss....the crane has a little ding in the boom...nothing a little duct tape can't fix..."

  • What an incredibly STOOPID way to kink a poor ole linkbelt...

The whole lot of these shit heads should walk the plank

  • Uh Stoopid? Try Stupid.

  • NO EXPERIENCE!!!! NO TRAINING!!!! A for effort and F for execution! You get what you pay for!! Local 12 Southern California!!! The best crane hands around!!

  • fuck what a fuckin joke you can fucken all you hear is people thinking they know what there doing too much yelling and and and they of coarse not helping at all. it shows you that there are too many cheifs not enough indians no god damn fuckin communications at all... you guys do your own job mind your busniss and let the person controlling the crane and the spotter do there job..when everyone starts yelling do this and do that this in the vid is what happenes

  • Just goes to show you what happens when you use NON UNION SCABS. A union operating engineer would have never even walked the crane that close to the water, not to mention being pushed onto a barge by a dozer. SHAME ON THE OPERATOR, AND THE TUG CAPTAIN FOR EVEN THINKING THIS WOULD WORK. (Local 14 Operating Engineer N.Y.C.)

  • Why do union people think they are the only ones capable of getting the job done? There are plenty of projects that function just fine without unions. I have loaded more than a few cranes onto a barge without the help of a union. I suppose there has never been a stupid accident on a union job?

  • @islandcerts because we're properly trained and can refuse to do something dumb without fear of getting canned. Not saying that non union guys are incompetent but we train our people with technical and hands on training with instructors who have several years of experience. I don't see any lines (camera might just be too far) tying the scow to the beach to any type of anchor points and maybe something went wrong with the tug. If you listen those guys are yelling "get outta that thing"

  • @islandcerts im a union operator..we both can agree that there are dumbasses in all walks of life...union and non-union

  • @tms870 mostly union

  • @tms870 My experience as a union carpenter on a union 2-story tilt up job in Santa Clara Valley is that it was very safe. This was clear when we lifted the 35' walls. The crane operators were excellent.

  • @islandcerts Does your ass get raw sitting in the middle of the fence. Here when needed14

  • @YaterSpoon86 What is that comment supposed to imply? Please re-read the above comments. I am anti-union and always have been. I have worked for both union and non-union companies and saw first hand what caliber of workers unions go out of their way to protect.

I have also witnessed several businesses go down the tubes because of unions. Union wages have no place in this global economy. We need to realize we are competing against the world labor force now not just union or non-union.

  • @islandcerts Since you are so fuckin smart how would you have prevented this accident and loaded the rig on that barge without it falling in the drink? JAFO?

  • @YaterSpoon86 I never claimed to be smarter than the next guy. These comments are only our opinions and we can all agree to disagree. I could put my two cents in what would have prevented this but it is obvious after the fact. Besides, it sounds like there have been enough suggestions already. One thing I will say is I hope all the men on that crew learned a lesson and next time better planning is used. Maybe this video and our comments will prevent someone else from making the same mistake

  • @islandcerts Your opinion counts. Union vs non-union discussions are always relative considering the horrible economy and the efforts to trim the bottom line. Everyone is looking to get LEAN. Cost cutting is valid except when it comes to the safety of the guys who work with you. And safety vests, goggles, and all the high priced gadgets aint gonna do it. Guys with experience will teach the newbs how to work safe. Vests and hard hats only serve to mark the bodies.

  • @YaterSpoon86 Fuck it lets do away with our unions and even minimum wage! Really, do you think if a company has a choice to make its wallet fatter or stay the same wealthiness that they would choose pay you more? C'mon, any of you who work construction and aren't union, you LOVE those prevailing wage jobs and I GUARANTEE you would never turn down that money even though its typically based on union scale which we union members have to fight tooth and nail for. Just give it back to the company!

  • @islandcerts Because Unions such as the "International Union of Operating Engineers" only use "competent" and trained operators. This would have never happened if Union because we operate at a higher level of safety and intellegence. You do not use a dozer to push or help the crane onto the barge. You use the dozer to build a ramp to get the crane to the same level as the barge and then crawl the crane rig onto the barge. If this is how you do it then you're a fucking idiot! You must be a SCAB!

  • @bolin03 The"International Union of Operating Engineers" trained you well. Union operators give the best head ever. You did a fine job sucking and swallowing my 14 inch SCAB cock! Please keep reporting to your union steward once a week to hone your skills sucking dick and taking it in the ass. If you join a union to begin with then you're a FAG!

  • Yeah local 14's safety record stands just for what it is, STUPID LEVERJERKERS with little training.

  • What actually caused the accident was the barge was tied too tight to the tug. When the weight of the crane loaded the front of the barge the barge picked up the front of the tug and the back of the tug went under water. The tug captain paniced and let of the throttles and the barge moved away from the bank. The dozer was pushing because it was wet. All the guys envolved were very lucky!!!

  • Rat companys never follow the rules...........

  • Mats were not properly place tug didn't appear to be pushing excavator was not enough to hold barge with dozier pushing the crane when the crane would not propel it's self stop right there adjust clucthe or run cable from front drum through fairleads to help pull you up but you really should have a spud barge

  • The excavator at the end shouldn't have hat its bucket so close to the guy with his back turned (or vice versa). Everyone concerned in this one kind of turns the job into a walking clusterfuck.

  • SAFETY FIRST ! because DANGER NEVER TAKES A DAY OFF @ Least those guys had their hard hats on. LOL!

  • ok my last post... watch the fat dude at :17... he's still flagging the dozer to keep pushing... Dumass

  • You can see that once the crane levels up on the barge the dozers tracks are spinning... the crane operator stopped walking for some reason... maybe when the crane tilted foward on the barge the operator stopped

  • Probably a union cofee break.

  • one more thing... It seems that once the crane is level on the barge he stopped walking.. If the dozer was still pushing that would explain why the barge left the shore.

  • Lack of proper flagging... Once the barge started moving the dozer operator should have stopped pushing... he pushed the barge out from under the backhoe...if the crane operator paniced and stopped walking there was no way the dozer can push the crane... Those four guys are lucky to be alive

  • the reason they are shoving it with a dozer is because the clutches are probably mad hot and slipping,a handfull of sugar or similar would have helped!also those ond friction cranes where prone to breaking chains when spraging(turning) so shoving is nessasary.
