in Singapore, we are not suppose to portray too much on our religion on national TV. because, some people will think that it is a propaganda to promote one's religion. not just Islam, this applies to other religions in Singapore as well. That is why they cannot show the Imam reciting holy verses of the Al-Quran. They have to make it as simple as possible. This is the basic TV production guidelines. - FTW =))
