He looks really good. How long have you been working on the canter? He reminds me of mine as you can see sometimes when they get off balance they do the stdbrd thing with their back legs but can pretty much geto over any fence if they put their mind to it.
Where do you show? My daughter has taken ours eventing but she wants to do jumpers. We're in Surrey.
@calwardo Thanks :) I have had him just over 2 years and have been working on his canter for just over a year. Yeah he does the thing with his back legs quite a bit, but will jump lmost anything with encouragement. I have done some falt classes at windsor and maple ridge and i took him to a jumper show at thundebird in august. But taking him to schows can be difficult because when he gets out of his comfort zone he paces.
He's a great jumper and if you worked on getting his canter rounder and more together you would gain a lot more control and it would help him get his distances to the jumps. He definitely knows how to tuck and get over the jumps though.
