i happy/sad to say i experienced srv in his finest appearance, EVER!

It was Stevie's last of many appearances at Red Rocks Amphitheatre...Labor Day 1989...This was a special evening,as I wanted to  catch SRV touring with his brother's band, The Fabulous Thunderbirds. The T-Birds opened for a redhot and sober SRV...The encore would include all members of both bands. Within a year, Stevie would be gone...he's sorely missed...I'm glad that I had a ticket for this stop.
