I loved season six. I thought the DDK storyline was awesome. I liked the latter half of season 5, when Lumen came along. That whole Lila storyline ruined the entirety of season 2 for me, as did Miguel Prado in season 3. Seasons 1 and 4 were great.

Season 4 was the best season of dexter. 1 & 2 were great, 3 & 5 sucked and the sixth was saved by the end scene of debra witnessing dexter kill DDK.

Man, Trinity was definitely one of the best Dexter enemies, if not THE best. The episode where we saw him abusing his family for the first time scared the hell out of me.

I really enjoy hearing and learning how the actors and crew of a movie or show especially really feel and how they connect with not only their character but those around them. Julie Benz seems very ditsy and immature in reality it annoyed me as others have posted it seemed to Jennifer Carpenter as well but its probably because Jennifer acts like an adult not a 14 year old justin bieber fan every time she speaks.

John Lithgow was CREEPY has Trinity. It was weird to see him in this kind of role, since I remember him from 3rd Rock from the Sun! The ending of season 4 was a shocker!

Check him out in the Brian de Palma film, Raising Cain. In fact he has quite a creepy role in De Palma's Blow Out too. My favourite has to be his OTT villainy in Cliffhanger - "Kill a man, you're a murderer. Kill a million, you're a conqueror. Golden figure."

looks like season 5 will be number third on my list. i like how robert chase is the antagonist, but they didnt really build him up in the same epic way as trinity.

my favorite was season 1 and 4. they were brilliant, especially because of the mysterious icetruck killer and of course trinity

Sucha a humble man, it's impressive how nice he is. If I was him I would've said "Don't you know who I am? @daemonprince13 Doakes was amazing - it was a huge moral conflict in which I think Dexter was wrong. He was hesitant in letting Doakes go which he should have - as much as Doakes was a douche, lying about him to maintain your cover is not correct - maybe Doakes did deserve it, I doubt that though. It was the tragedy that Lila killed him for such a bad reason because he was in there by Dexters hand - for so long that made me feel bad abotu it.

I think Arthur Mitchell was not only the best villain in Dexter but in my opinion one of the best villains of all time. So many layers, all executed perfectly.

I don't know who is casting for Dexter but they have gotten it right EVERY time.

I understand where you are coming from since much of best known work in the 90s were in comedies like "3rd Rock From the Sun" but John Lithgow is foremost a dramatic actor. He is a very talented man and a large portion of his career has been in serious roles. I'm sure he will be fantastic.
