The other nations have no projection abilities, or so little. It is all Europe which is neglecting its defense but France is still first among them.

- Crimean War, France did most of the job with the British.

- WW1 France did the bulk of the fighting and suffered the most in the West. Only the British Empire can claim being the other big Allied leader. Russia lost and the US came at the very end, mostly equipped with French weapons and clothes! We deserved the victory.

The other nations have no projection abilities, or so little. It is all Europe which is neglecting its defense but France is still first among them.

Germany does little in european defense projects, in most of them, it is nothing but an hydrance. France has been very disappointed and decided to switch to a French-British alliance.
Germany has no landing ships, no aircraft carriers. They dislike going on foreign missions (Afghanistan has been a very polemic issue in Berlin). The trauma of WW2 is still high.

- Crimean War, France did most of the job with the British.
- I don't make the list of colonial wars (1830-1920s), it is a bit unfair considering the technological gap. Of course, we won all of them. Yet in Asia, some wars were a bit more climatic than the others, like the Sino-French War (1884 - 1885).
- Second Italian war of Independance (1859)

- WW1 France did the bulk of the fighting and suffered the most in the West. Only the British Empire can claim being the other big Allied leader. Russia lost and the US came at the very end, mostly equipped with French weapons and clothes! We deserved the victory.
- WW2, I agree, horrible beginning, we came back in the war thanks to the Allies. Agreed.
- Indochina War lost despite a brave homeric resistance. The US did not reach greater results aswell.

- Successful participation in several coalitions (Korean War, Suez crisis, Gulf War), successes in UNO missions (low intensity war, I admitted) or in missions for French interests overseas (like the Legion in Kolwezi, Chad,...)
