I got mine with a needle and when it actually goes through it kind of takes the breath out of you but it's fine. It's afterwoods that hurts the most, just really sore to touch and sleep on.

I had mine done with a needle (and the needle was a bit bigger than average). It doesnt hurt. It stings for about a minute and then feels very warm.

yeah, don't go to claire's. they messed up my first hole twice, the first time the made the one hole on my left ear too low on my ear, i have a permanent hole below my earring hole i use now. both times i had to close up the holes because it got so infected

dont get it done with a gun.

because it doesnt take out the piece of skin and when you take it out it will grow back in a day. it would be better to get it done with a neddle

I went to the Claire's by where I live to get my cartilage pierced, and they wouldn't do it for me! They said it was considered a body piercing, haha.

i am leaving in about one hour to get my cartilidge pierced at Claire's, think about it, they would have been sued or shut down by now if they couldn't do it properly. i have four other piercings and as long as you take good care of them they will be fine! I AM SO EXCITED! dont worry about whether or not it hruts, sure it will hurt for about a week, and you will have some pain for about 6 months afterwards but it looks so pretty and individual. :)

No. It doesn't hurt at all. I got mine two days ago with a needle, its just a sharp sting, and it hurtd if you sleep on it after a few days. I'm 11, so...mine might have hurt me more than yours will hurt you. :)
