The setting that the camera was set wrong (I am a communications major, I know this stuff) It was really good, it could have been better if the setting was on correctly.... Just think of this as construcual critisism for the next time lapse... I actually did one myself it took forever... if you want a longer one just note that 30 pictures is 1 second.

Fair enough , you can't see the trails of the stars because you have your camera's exposure set up wrong , but this is still very much beautiful , itsnot pathetic at all.

Guys i f you have manual mode in your camera do this.First go to a dark or very dark location where the milky way is visible use the planets app from appstore for your ipod if you want, and set your camera to manual and adjust it like his iso 1600 or 800 F 2.8 shutter speed 30 seconds burst mode unlimited and put your camera on a tripod and click the camera and wait and you will get a timelapes of i dont know find out and see what happens!
