If you can find a way to buy it or check it out from the library, I recommend True Magick: A Beginner's Guide by Amber K. It is a very good book for those starting out. I'm fourteen, and my mom's side is Christian, while Dad's is Pagan/Wiccan. I just recently got very serious about learning more about Wicca and other varieties of Paganism. After reading True Magick, you will also have good information to share with your mom, if you decide to tell her.
