  • If he was doing a fansigning in Houston it'd be like this.

Me(Man Voice): YO JAY PARK HOMEBOYYYYY!

Jay: Yo! Wait, who was that...?

  • AAAAWWW SO CUTE ;o;

  • hahahhaha!!! it was funny she succed at least to get his attention!hhahahahhaha smart girl;)!!

  • lol yeah it's rude to just call him YAH since she doesn't even know him but i heard she was trying to do the YAH-HO joke. lol

  • I DONT FIND ANYTHING RUDE O.o

  • @Cubandkorean lol saying yah to someone is considered pretty rude unless you are friends or the person saying yah is older.

  • Yah is basically like a way to say HEY! to someone. Right?

  • Actually that's not true. Saying "YAH!" to someone may be an informality but it doesn't matter. She wasn't being rude, she was getting his attention. Its really hard to get someones attention, especially when surrounded by loud fangirls. I now it may be very informal but I would have done that same thing. Saying "YAH!" isn't just reserved for your dongsaeng or a chingu.

  • Cool and patient guy~

  • his like wehh?? hehehe cute.

  • "야!" is the best way to do it...especially if you're a guy talking to a girl lol jk jk

  • LOL!

  • thats not rude...cuz he's american...i don't care if my sister or brothers call me unnie/noona.. it doesn't really bother me...i am so used to them calling me by my name and i sometimes don't bow to everyone i see. not that i'm rude...but american culture is different...u get used to it...i love jay :D

  • Jay is so cool he's like "Waddup ?"

  • what is the song that playing ?

  • @kimsungjun94 2pm "Only You"

  • the girl is like geum jan di :DDDD hehehe :D jay was like 'wae?' :DD

  • he grew up in seattle. thats nuthin

  • @derobmai he grew up in edmonds. nothing like seattle

  • Comment removed

  • @liviDream he was raised in edmonds. i believe he spent mosta his time in seattle where his parents are at. he has and is publicly known to rep sea wa

  • @derobmai his parent's house is in edmonds. he wouldn't say he reps edmonds because no one knows where that is and nothing goes on there. i was born a good 2hrs away from seattle but i would still say i'm from seattle because that's the only place people would know from washington. dt seattle's a bit ghetto but edmonds is nothing and he lived in the nicer area

  • @liviDream fsure im kno you kno better~

  • i'm not korean but isnt yaaah is a bit rude?just asking but he is okay with it

  • and the moment between him and jay so cute! lucky girl! ^^

  • she's not rude for me~ she's cool though~ ^0^

  • I think she was just trying to get his attention..I don't think she meant to be rude by yelling out "YAH"..it all depends on the tone of voice and the situation..in this situation she was doing all she can to get his attention and SHE DID!=) how lucky. <3

  • HAHAHAHA She's so cute! XD He looked so amused too.

  • he's soo adorable. lol the girl is soo cute too, yelling out as if they're best friends. i think instead of screaming like a crazy fan girl, its better to talk to the idols...or scream their name out loudly like she did lol :) cute !

  • lol some ppl even claps their hands after that xD

  • based on my exprience u must loud to get attention from idols~

  • he's so chill

  • that girl's has no respect!!!they have to understand him....gggrrr.....

  • lmfao...so funny, I'd do that. like, Yah! show me yo' pretty face, boy. :D

  • I outta slap her face . ughh , shoutin at myyy booboo like that . the nerve of some peepo .

  • I think i'll do that :P

  • i bet she got attacked by fangirls lol

  • kekeke if she talks to him like that then i'll just think of her as an ahjumma serves her right >:D

  • hhhhhhhhhhhhh what a bitch how could her !!

  • why is she rude...did i miss something here?

  • @bobbysuger its because she said "YA!" agressively(:

  • @princessjmj cudnt it have been that she said it loudly because she wanted to be sure that he heard, that she wasnt aggressive, just loud? :S

  • @bobbysuger you gave an even better answer than me. :)

  • @princessjmj haha thanks :)

  • Comment removed

  • Because in korea you can only talk to a person informally if they are either family, close friends, or younger younger than you~~if you just meet a guy who is older than you, you cant starting talking informally right away (which she did)..^^

you have to call him Oppa or Jaebumssi..

  • @princessrose222 ah I see! thanks for the good explanation :D didn't realize that "ya!" is of informal speech :)

  • @bobbysuger your welcome..^^ lol i just read my comment again..i wrote younger two times.xP thats a typo..hehe

  • @princessrose222 I think 'Oppa' is meant for close male friends and your actual brother, so it's also kind of informal. But as a fangirl I guess you call jay like that.

  • @Catjuhhxx lol...i dont remember my comment anymore...:/ but yeah oppa is used for close older male friends, boyfriend and your actual brother. some fangirls offc call him that, even in korea~ i dont tho, i just call him jay park. ^^

and the informal part...i am going to ask my friend just to make sure. :)

  • hahaha! his reaction and face.. so cute!

  • rude chick ...someone should punch her in the face :P if i were him i would middle finger her :P

  • @LenaParkMusic709 Where'd you get that kind of information? I'm not making fun of Korea o.O I'm Korean myself -.-

  • LOL i love jay he's like what?'

  • Fangirl: PARK JAEBUM! YAH!

    Jay: Lolwut :P

  • hahaha he's so cute! XD

  • lol, jay was/is accustomedto ppl using his name normally and doesnt think about it at first. lol.

  • @SunMi0724 totally! it would make my day if they did. but we r probably dreaming

  • love 2pm and I want them to come to Mongolian soo much

  • yeah ' yah' is a rude way of saying hey , and you can hear it from the way she says it .

  • sooo funny cute jae bom

  • "Park Jaebeom! YAH!" hahahaha

  • Comment removed

  • I have watched this videos a number of times now but never get tired of his what

  • lol! he said "WAE?"

  • I thought "yah" meant "hey" in Korea. That's what it always translates to on KBS World OMS when Park Myungsoo says "yah, yah, yah!" = "hey, hey, hey!"

I don't speak Korean, so I could be wrong, just following subs.

  • @oompaasha

    Lol .

Yah does mean "Hey:", but its a rude way of saying it .

Like, say someone stole ur computer rite before u, Youd say, "HEY !"

    Hahaa

  • Haha he was like 'WAE?!'

    Love him ~

  • Let's clear this up:

It's not rude when you call a celebrity's name in Korea, but it was rude the way she said it. Unless she was older than him, calling him "Yah" is very informal and rude, so maybe that's why the user titled it the way he/she did.

Jay is such a respectable man though; not caring about the way the fan called him like that and just smiling ♥

  • sounded like Hyuna from 4minute...hahahaha

  • so THAAAATS how you get his attention..

  • @biwingaced LOL XD !

  • fans: YAH!

    Jay:what! lol

  • @SuperAwesomeness88 cause its spelled backwards korean: yah english: hay

  • The way he answers "wae" haha,so cute. Like whats up? haha

  • at as someone who does not know any korean to yell "YA" at someone you do not know is rude? Ok I say "ya" to my friends when asked a question and im to lazy to say yes. Good to know never to say "Ya" to someone if I ever go to Korea.

  • He coolly said "Wae?" with a smile. Whoever said that must've wanted to have his attention. *Maybe next time I'll do the same to get his attention, hehehe lol.

  • Actually, to yell "YA" to someone who you're not close to is considered pretty rude in Korea. It's not like a "Hey!" you can just say to anyone you like.

  • Ya is how you say Hey in Korean. What's the big deal?

  • I always say Ya. I don't think it's rude at all. I actually don't know how to use it. I call people by that. When they don't listen. Etc. It's not rude , I think it's slang for HEY! in korean

  • I say YAH~!!! When am angry n__n it just depends on the tone of voice when you say it...

  • I think they just did it to get his attention & I guessed it work since he responded back~

  • aigoo~~ It's not rude~~ It's like calling Jay and he even answered, " wae? " or something like that~~

  • he's really cute...his smile sooo cute......

  • this would be rude if she were talking to his mother... not him -.-

  • that is d cutest "what/hey" ever!!!!!! xD

  • how is this rude?! i think your jealous

  • @cortez18 It's not jealousy, though. LOL it's just how Korea is.

  • it isn't that rude. just annoying imo.

  • RUDE?! how is that rude?

  • I don't find this rude cause jay so cute lol, he's like a stuff toy :P

  • Jaebum YA ! she was probably trying to get his attention

  • hahahaha i think its a good thing that she said that. She got his attention didnt she? lol.

  • Lol actually the fan was gonna say "Ya ho!". "Ya" is a rude way to call someone(if you don't know them) but if you put "Ho" behind it, it becomes a completely different word. It's like a Korean joke to first say "Ya!" then a second later "Ho!" to change the previous meaning of "Ya".

Anyways so the fan yelled out "Ya!", meaning to say "Ho" right after it to make it a joke, but Jay actually answered by yelling "Why?", kinda ruining the joke. lol

  • Aww , Jay looked at that girl !

    I wish he'll look at me when I call him . ):

  • jay is so cute....his smile is the best

  • jay is damn cute, and he treats his fans the best compared to everybody. Jay is sweet guy.

  • haha... well.. it's ok.. maybe it's his friends??? among the fans must be some of their friends right?

but.. it could be the girl is same age as jaebum.. so it's ok when they are same age

  • this is not rude!kind of annyoing people posted this!just a small thing!what a big deal MAN?!

  • What if she's older than him? A lot of these groups have noona fans.

  • I wouldn't say it isn't rude because it doesn't matter if you're calling a celebrity or not. Calling out "Yah!" to someone you don't know or is older than you or higher in status than you or whatever is considered rude. Celebrities are just more used to it because people do it all the time. It's not a big deal after a while. Just like Jay, they have to just laugh it off because they know it's just the fans way of getting their attention. I've heard of worse fan stories haha.

  • awwww....he is soo cute!

  • isn't "YA" means hey? as in "hey you!" or something?

  • @ManicFOLLOWUP you can use that only to comfortable friends or close younger ones.

  • @gwajadanji Ohh......well good to know. Well if he reacted like than it;s just another proof that Jay's a good sport.

  • kpop stuff.

  • it's becuz thy love him XD

  • ya is hey in korean! haha!

  • maybe she's going to say "Park Jaebum! YA! why did you steal my heart?!"

  • YAH is how you say "Hey" in korean...

  • This clip was Cute!! u c, why cant we all be easy going like j-bummie. =)

  • @KyoraBaby I so agree with you! :)))) Why can't all celebrity be like that?!? :)))))

  • @eyemla there's a reason why my comment doesn't have 37164 thumbs down. Did you grow up in Korea? If so you would understand their culture of treating celebrities like objects or sometimes worse to get their attention. The harsh truth is that celebrities have to learn to endure that kind of hostility in order to be successful. And jay obviously has, which explains his many dedicated fans.

  • why is it rude? I'm so confused

  • oh i want to friend with the fan ! haha!

  • jay's sooo cute, his smile melts my heart

  • ¨haha. he's so cute ! :D

  • uhhhhhhh that was.. interesting....

  • hahaha i cant stop laughing she was like "park jaebum...ya!!!!!" and he is like funny stare** "way?" XD

  • He wasn't mad about it. You guys are just making things up. He laughed about it.

  • i dont get it?

  • @Duskhunterxx me either

  • wen we say yah its just trying to get their attention

  • hehe...jay just smile hearing that...well i wonder who's that girl...

  • Look yah does mean hey in korean but when talking to your peers. very disrespectful.

but on the other hand, WAE has many meanings

    1)what?

    2)why?

    3)wtf you want b*tch

guess which way jaebom used it :D

  • @CaptainBigPackage the third one!!!! FTW

  • it's just like yep just signing fans signing whatever then BAM! "PARK JAEBUM! YA!!" "WOAH WHAT WTH?!!??!?!?"

  • doesnt Yah mean Hey in korean?

  • Fans do that just to get the celebs' attention. lol it's not a big deal in korea cuz it can be cute in a way. she prolly had a huge smile on her face when she said it / when jay looked over. hahaha

  • 'park jaebum , YAH !' WTH.

  • it looks lke he literally said what instead of in korean

  • @angelfrheaven lol more like WHaa?

  • @SNSDluvr yeh it looks kinda like tht lol

  • Ya! = Hey! (in english)

  • YAH isn't rude in korea when you call a celebrity. because SO MANY PEOPLE do it.

  • @ekangaroo321 That's exactly what I was thinking too. Why are the people here so retarded.

  • @ekangaroo321 haha but does that make it okay for everyone to use it? man.. Korean fans can go overboard at times. Anti's are crazyy. very scary.

  • @wookie1289

i NEVER said it was okay. it's considered rude here but NOT there. if you think of it that way, entertainment agencies beat up their singers sometimes. now that's really rude, right?

what i don't understand is how people single out "one rude fan". it's a culture difference. and honestly, there are some americans who abuse celebrities' privacies here too. it's a universal thing to obsess over celebrities, but in each country there are different tolerance levels.

  • @ekangaroo321 true, so we both agree that it's rude right? Although it may be common in Korea or anywhere, it's still considered rude (in all cultures).

  • @wookie1289

no i meant that to US it's rude, but in korea it's not considered rude. especiallyyy in the entertainment industry. they pay fame and money to celebrities in exchange for their unconditional patience and dedication to fans

  • @ekangaroo321 puhahaha.

  • @ekangaroo321 so because some people use 야 to call a celebrity, it's ok for everyone else to? celebrities are people too.

i personally don't think the fan was rude though. it was cute in a way. it shows closeness.

but if some stranger did that to me, i would have been pissed lol

  • @airplanetobu hey did you even read the conversation i had with other people?

i never said i thought it was OKAY. and.... you seem to agree with me too. so .... have a nice day? :p

  • @ekangaroo321 Because so many people do it does not mean that it is not rude... Nonetheless, probably the fan is still young and just excited. I guess she wanted something short and impactful to get his attention-- and it worked!! XD

  • @ekangaroo321 not a rude word but not so manners at all.. YAH is always use at like very close friends.. I think the fans cant call their idols using that word.. for me no manners.. =/

  • @ekangaroo321 it is kinda rude cuz it's like when someone shouts "Hey!" or "Yo!" to you...i would've been like "i have a name"

  • @chunky52695 soo if your friend didn't say your name each time he/she called you, it would be rude?

  • @ekangaroo321 well, i wouldn't scream at people saying "Hey!" because it really is rude....unless you do it in a nicer tone, then it would be different

  • @ekangaroo321 its still rude...and just cause a lot of people do it doesnt make it not rude. its just that fans do tend to act that way. i remember during an interview wooyoung was talking about how he thought fans who said "yah" and stuff were scary haha

  • @kakashisensi1413 it's a korean celebrity culture thing though...

  • @ekangaroo321 haha ya i know...but its still rude. but i guess by naming this vid a rude fan calls park jaebeom it makes it seem like it doesnt happen often? but it does so i guess thats why its not viewed as that rude anymore

  • 'ya' is rude? i used to call my korean friends 'ya' and they dont really care about it

  • Lmao he was all stretching and she was like Jae

  • @pauchansan well it's not just hey. even to close friends that are like 1-2 yrs older than you it's rude to call them Ya (hey) so yea that's just how it is in korea

  • @tokee1234567 Not in this type of case.

  • @SoulSecond um.. it's still rude though. I'm korean and I might have been annoyed that someone who doesn't even know me that well and haven't even met me before in person calls me "ya"

  • @tokee1234567 Maybe you're a korean who is hated by her own people.

  • @SoulSecond What the hell are you talking about? as a korean it's rude when someone calls you YA. My parents don't let me say Ya to my sister. I don't know how you were raised as a child but apparently for you ppl can say Ya to you anytime

  • @pauchansan In Korea it isn't rude, it's just a fun thing. Btw Jay is Korean, not American =3

  • @SoulSecond Correction... He is Korean American. Born in America... is an American citizen with Korean background ... by law.. he is Korean American.

  • @JustVideoUploads By Korean law, he is Korean =3 It's okay, you'll be Korean too soon...

  • lol..he's extremely cute..very attractive.."}
