@diddler231 Rome's founder Romulus was a decendant of the Trojan Aeneas, who fled the burning city with a few followers, and got stranded in Italy. The Romans honor Romulus(a descendant of the Trojans/a Trojan) because he founded the city.

@DXSXDXSXD If you know history all that well you would also know that while Greece and the rest of the Balkans were under Turkish occupation for that time, there wasn't as much mixing of genes as you've heard because the Turks themselves would not mix with Christians. More importantly while we do have a small degree of turksih blood as well as Slavic, Frankish etc because that's the way things work around here, we speak Greek not Turkish and our culture was and remains 99% Greek.

@jeffersonrr Yes, the historical events of the Trojan war, I'm not talking about the myth here, occur about 700-600 before the rise of Sparta and the other Greek city-states but the kingdom of Sparta did go to war in Troy alongside the other Greeks, (afterall Helen was suppossedly abducted from Menelaus its king) but the Spartans of the time were not that different from the other Greeks nor was the city so militarized as in later times. Greetings from Greece!

I am just amazed how the same guys that made all the Dynasty Warriors game based off of ancient China now turn their attention towards ancient Greece and the Trojan War =)

Next one should be about the Greek-Persian wars like the tale of the 300 spartans, or maybe the Punic wars and what Hannibal did, that would be fuckin kickass!

Ok i had some thoughts:

1st thought: They must have got inspired from the movie Troy (the one with Brand Pitt), the looks the scenaries everything s the same.

2nd thought: This game doesnt seem to be a tribute to all warriors but to Achilies alone - In that case why dont they just name the game "Legend of Achillies" and be the end of it?

3rd thought: No matter how fucked up we are as a country right now, Acient Greece is allways the first to inspire game and movie producers :D

The movie was very very loosly based off of the Illiad and it sux'd fight scenes where good tho and the illiad is about Achilles wrath, but the other warriors play a big prt and this game is also based off of the few epic poems about the end of the war, most of the great heroes died be4 the greeks even got into troy

and what i meant by assassins creed is the way u fight it shouldnt just be attack and block u should have to dodge or reverse to be able to do a succesful attack like for exmple dodging or ducking will give you an opening to cut their throat. so it actually looks like achilles when you fight and it actually so skillful. this will encourage you to do better. the ONLY game i have seen close to what i want is assassins creed and even thats fighting style needs improving to get what i want.

@tiddee103190 also i think that ur charcter cud only have limited exp 2 use, like he shudnt b realy strong & really fast at the same time, if u want him to b quick u cannot expect him 2 b really bulky. yet u should b able to change ur charcaters phsyques at all time however it shud take time. also u shud have 2 work for this by killing people or doing certain types of moves. u cud buy certain swords & armor or spears, shields so like assas creed mixed wiv an rpg mixed wiv greek hack and slash.

No one knows if this war lasted 10 days, 10 years or even if It took place, cause there's no real document thats proves that this war actually happened.. The only thing that we have today to tell this story is a book called Odyssey, which cointains two epic poems of the ancient Greece, telling the story of the horse of Troy, the war and etc.. but nothing concrete
