Wonder how many slave children Lee sold to afford Traveler?
Lee's slave farm specialized in breeding slaves - -selling the children to "soul drivers" as they called them, who would march the children - by whip -- down further South where they were sold again.
Young slave girls who were light skinned -- often light because they were fathered by the owners -- were kept as sex slaves or sold into whore houses.
That's the kind of lunatic Lee was. Sure is a fine horse, though.
Can you give any historical references to this? Your statement has historical undertones, but I fear that they are meaningless words. If you had any scholarship at all, you would have found that while Lee no doubt owned slaves, he had little contact with them. Lee was a religious man and believed slavery wrong and slavery in of itself evil However he believed that God had willed slavery and it would be so until God "unwilled it." I can find no evidence of what you claim at all.
@Gladius3rd IowaSea constantly trolls any and all sites that might have Robert E Lee on it and spews the exact same nonsense on all of them. He goes by many identities but you can recognize him instantly. I don't know if he actually believes these outlandish lies or simply enjoys goading strangers into arguing with him. By the way, I thought this was a very nice video - I love horses and enjoyed it very much.
