@jbideastoo Hi John, that's a good idea, but difficult to realize. Imagine: I would have to install each single tip one after another and on the same shaft. Then i would have to play with each tip for extended periods (to study the durabiltiy and tendency to deform). And the result would be mostly my subjective valuation. So to measure the playability or performance of a tip in physically and objecitve units is something impossible.
Have you done similiar testing with ferrule materials? Juma, Ivory, Aegis, Elofyrn, PMI, etc, etc....

@hdgis1
did a hardness test with ivory colored Elforyn (85 Shore D) and ivory grained Elforyn (86 Shore D).

I love this. I'm such a cue nerd--very cool! I want a durometer now when I'm going through my tip selections!

Tolle Sache! Schade, dass kein G10 dabei war, dennoch sehr interessant.

Ja, hast Recht. Sobald ich ein G10 in die Finger bekomme, landet es auf dem Tisch.

Very cool, now do you plan to test the relative performance of each tip so that we can see how the hardness corresponds to the performance?
