@MegaGamerRO You know that number "Pi"? Well.. take out the decimal in it. That's roughly about how many rounds you can throw through an AK before it breaks.
Also, it's alot more controllable, it uses a straight stock design with the m4 stock, delivering recoil straight back. The original AK47 stock (u know what it looks like) delivers recoil back and up.
in an issue devoted to the AK, discussing the 8M3 bullet at length. Again, Guns and Ammo recommended it for it's stopping power. Unfortunately they were unaware that the same bullet is available as the Wolf Military Classic HP, last I checked. This is unlike other HP you've used. A bullet with better stopping power would be a 'soft point', also recommended by Guns and Ammo. Bear and the others offer a less expensive SP. Get SP over that HP, any day if you can find it cheaper.
To determine which is the best bullet, read Fackler, Martin L., M.D, one of the most referred to experts on terminal or wound ballistics. It's about 'stopping power' folks.
your comparing full metal jacket to hollow point............. there is no comparison.
i was comparing 2 different types of FMJ rounds as they are the most common round to shoot out of the ak47, also if you have ever shot HP rounds through an ak47 you would know it will jam like crazy because the ak47 was made to use only FMJ rounds, the HP rounds have a flat tip slug versus the FMJ which has a sharp tip slug.
well many companies and people wanted the abilities for the "COLLAPSIBLE " stock from the CARBINE (ar-15) on the AK-47 type weapon system so a lot of these companines that make ak accessories make these stocks to the tactical shooter.
yep he is one of those kids who has the one parent who has some weapons and he feels as though they are his since they are his dads and now he feels like the big shit that really doesnt know anyshit about firearms but likes to brag that ya i got guns bitches what now ,and who probably likes to say stupid shit with out thinking about it first so ya u are right.
cool vid man, whats it like firin the AK,myself have never fired anythin bigger than a 5.56 (SA80)had to join the fuckin army to get hold of anything like that in my wankin country
thanks! its ok firing the ak, the round it shoots is what i like the most (7.62X39), well that and the fact that its so fuckin reliable, its a nice rifle, im going to own like 10 more soon...
for plinking i recommend the wolf ammo because its cheaper, but wolf ammo is dirty, plan on cleaning your weapons more then you shoot them. but fiocchi i recommend for real target or personal safety use, it cost more and is cleaner then wolf.
American made aks are actualy pretty nice. Americans put alot of time into making them, And they add alot of extra fun crap onto them too. AK pistol are an american deal too. No other countries made em sept for prototypes. Also regardless of what gnfan32 says Belgium made weapons are among some of the finest in the world.
they make em out of different metals whichh causes them to jam sometimes
russian AK's are made of a REALLY strong steel which will virtually never causes it to jam or overheat. plus american AK muzzles can melt if you shoot it too long without stopping
nice vid man post more when you get a chance!!!!i have a question though is it true that not all variations of the ak are illegal in the u.s.?can i legally purchase one of these firearms?if so were?can you shoot these at a normal gun range?
as far as i know as long as its semi auto and you dont swap parts from one ak to another and you dont modify the parts then your all good. to put it this way....if you can buy it from a licenced FFL dealer then its legal. yea you can shoot them at a gun range as long as its for long range rifles as well as pistols, outdoor ranges usually are all good. just depends on the rules of the range you go to... check your local FFL dealer, or gun store.
NICE. I found a great AK at a gun show in PA last month but they couldn't sell it to me cause I live in Jersey and I cant have a threaded barrel, its illegal in my State.
well the wolf ammo has more of a kick then any other simply because of the grain, but it is alot more dirty, the fiocchi is cleaner, meaning less to clean after shooting. but even though between the two theres only a 1 grain difference i can tell that the wolf has more kick. i cant really answer your question fully because i've only used those two ammo. but if the soviet round has a higher rating of grain then i would think it would have more kick. thanks for the comment:]
yeah i use the cheap shit for mine well wolf is cheap brand too but i use monarch brand its 123 grain i forgot what grain wolf has cause when i bought my ak i just got 2 boxs to fill up my clips for home defence othewise i just use the monarch for the range cheaper yeah you should check out my vid if u want oh and the soviet M43 rounds are were the first ones made and its said that they didnt do lot of tisse damage thats why the kick isnt much its a weak bullet and u would have to hit vital part
