Nobody will ever know what drove him to this, but I can only compare it to the people who jumped from the WTC on Sept. 11. The agony was so intense they wanted to escape it at any cost, even though it meant certain death..

I think that's how depression is for some people. It gets to a point where they'll do anything to escape the pain.

It's also like cancer--a horrible disease that many survive and other don't.

I have been watching Donnie and Marie for years. I am 51 years old and im sure she was a good mother. Unfortunatly he just wanted to leave. chemical imbalances can be tricky. He was also adopted so the imbalance may lie with his biological family.

I think he was misdiagnosed. I think he had more of a mental illness-borderline personality disorder or something of that sort. Teenage years are very difficult because of how the brain is still developing and many symptoms and problems overlap. It's sad that this has happened, but there must have been something else wrong for him to be driven enough to commit suicide.

I have been a fan for over 30 years and it was devasting to me that one of her son's had Killed himself by jumping! I was shocked! He needed PROFESSIONAL" help and he did not have to be dead today! I love Marie and her family but I wish instead of just rehab she could have seen if how deep he was depressed! I say this because My son Adam had been depressed since he was 17 and we got him help. He still has a Psychatrist and a Pychologist and is doing fine!

She used to run around her house with a knife saying she was going to kill herself if her kids didnt get good grades. She didnt let Micheal get his license until he was 18... She has been a horrible mother, and still is. She had nannies I actually took care of her kids on occasion when she was looking for new ones. OBVIOUSLY stars have nannies, thats no secret.

Michael was mentally ill. I hope he had friends or family that were actually monitoring his psychiatric treatment. He was in school and was somewhat active. He cared about live and was making progress. That is what makes this suicide so abnormal and out of character. Did he stop taking his meds or change his medications? That might have been the cause. He may have been knocked back into deep depression and was not thinking striaight. Suicide is usually impulsive. Michael was doing well... hmm.

I know the Blosil's Brian(her ex) and Marie were my sunday school teachers. ( I love Brian, hes such a good guy!) I blame it on Marie. I used to watch the kids from time to time; and she was never there. She was off doing her show biz stuff and dolls. Brian usually was the only one there at church to give our lessons. I looked up to Marie at one point, but after she divorced Brian, I lost all respect for her. RIP Michael, I loved that kid! :(

Life is so hard these days Im surprised more people arent killing themselves. Money, fame, family and stuff cant protect you from the ravages of insensitivity and the onslaught of rampant consumerism. People are feeling so disconnected from their true selves because of the society we've built.
