I'm about to purchase this camera from a guy on craigslist. I'm just wanting to use it for Vlogging and uploading to youtube. Is it a good choice, including the editing?

I hate this camera, i got it a long time ago and havent made any videos with it because i cant friken upload them into windows movie maker since it doesnt support MP4 files...which is what this camera records videos as. Can anyone help me convert them to not MP4s?

if you use sony vegas, you can edit the videos...just use the trial and get a keygen for it

Umm yea since it records in mpeg4 format, you can put the movies that you record on it, on your psp without any trouble at all.

Hey I have the same camera. When I upload my movies on the computer they come up as AVI files. Do you know if I have to do something with the CD or something? Cause the video wont play on my PC

If you are using a windows machine I really cant help, I think avi is a windows movie. try opening it up with windows media player.

Try downloading VLC Media Player. It's amazing, and I choose it over any other player on my computer. It plays avi files wonderfully.

yes if you are on windows get VLC its really good

AVI = Divx

google or yahoo "Divx codec" or "AVI codec"

and simply download the ".avi" codec pack, its a few megs in size, but once you have it your are then able to view a large array of home movies

windows media player series 9 & 10 tend to run .avi the best out of any media player ive used

I use a mac. Download into iphoto or make a folder for your movies on your desktop.

I have a mac and when I plug in, Iphoto starts and I can download my images and videos. I cannot edit the video unless I save in quicktime pro as a .mov file and bring into final cut pro.

i got this cam for christmas 07 and the battery lasts at the minimum of 1 1/2 to 2 hours depending on your use. but on the box it states 2 about 2 hours.

i had the same problem. i searched youtube for mpeg4 converter and found a guy who posted wmconverter. i downloaded it free and it works! just click the better quality for teh best picture.
