My grandma is going crazy about the blinking light in the background. Is it possible to disable it?

@Lucas3015 The blinking light is a notification. It's usually alerting you of a text message, voicemail or missed call. @ConsumerCellular Thank you. It would just be easier if I could disable it for her. You know, so she doesn't have to look at it. She's easily distracted and when she drives and it starts to blink she loses focus of the traffic.

@Lucas3015 - The blinking light will go away once all the messages are checked. If you would like to disable Voicemail and Text Messaging - please contact our customer service department at 888-484-3062. However, please note that the blinking light will come back on every time she misses a call - there's no way to disable that feature.

Once you use the emergency button and it rings the person in question, can you talk to that person?
