I think they purposely made the batter thick, so it wouldn't fall apart either in the pan, or while the batter is covering the cheeseburger.

Yeah its best to use vegetable oil..... and also it seems to me that the meat was cooked before deep frying.... theres no way that could have been done in 55 seconds
