No he's not saying Don't blame this boy, he is saying "I'm still playing this boy" the song which was probably recorded around the same time! maybe talking to himself or one of the others!

Im not sure I think he said something like '(your) still playing This Boy...' Maybe someone hit a D chord instead of that funny suspended G thingy that is the opening of that track though im really not sure.
