  • His IQ is CLEARLY higher than 60, he's a genius with Logic, he knows how to do pretty much anything and is very successful, so yeah...

  • THANKS BROV

  • I really don't like Apple, or "Logic" which seems to have an IQ of about 60 if you ask me.

  • @ketogenesis no man THE GUY in the video has an IQ of 60. Apple and Logic are allriht

  • This is easy , but i want to have my tracks seperated, not in one wav or one mp3..

how do you bounce the whole song ,while each track (Kick, hihat, snare, sample)is turning into a wav..that will be a lot faster than if i select each track and then save it as wav track by track.

    many thx;)

    Greets ya boy Riso

  • thanx

  • Hey how u doing man i just got logic pro i made a few beats but i cant seem to find how to plug my mic in... i went to pref and i put my midi setting but it wont let me choice imput output my mic works but i cant here the beat at same tme. please help me thank you...

  • yeah bouncing is like exporting. or "Save As> song.mp3" essentially.

Question: im new to Logic etc. Is it wise to Normalize if you're making hip hop tracks with an instrumental track and a few verse tracks?

    Thanks.

  • What does normalizing mean in the Logic sense?

  • i believe normalizing is increasing the tracks to MAX volume without peaking. i dunno the pros and cons though.

  • Thanks for getting back

    Like not clipping level?

  • you're thinking of maximizing, normalizing is different

  • quick response. BB?

Yes, like not clipping. like i said, im not positive. but when u sample something, then normalize it, it makes it louder, as loud as possible without clipping (without going into the "red")

id recommend wikipedia "normalize" or osmething.

  • so bouncing means final sequecing or arranging all parts of our composed song.. ?

  • Thanks to all the people at Expert Village, your videos are extremely helpful, informative and interesting. Great job!!

  • when i master my song it sounds good (in logic)

but when i bounce it is really quiet and when i turn up my output 1-2 it makes it sound really distorted

like it was recorded at a high volume..

    HELP ME PLEASE

  • Julian

You must use a Plug-In with an adjustable gain like a LImiter on Output 1-2 to get louder sound. This is part of "mastering". Try the Limiter and you'll see that you can increase the volume of the bounced material.

  • where is that at??

i see something called limiter under the dynamics insert

i only put this limiter on the output 1-2 track?? and not all the tracks??

and i have no idea how to use this limiter

  • 1) Bring up your Logic Project

    2) Select Output 1-2 Channel Strip by clicking on it

    3) Click on "Inserts"

    4) Under "Dynamics" select "Adaptive LImiter"

    5) Open the limiter plug and select the "Average Limit" setting

    6) Now go back to the Output 1-2 Fader and raise the volume until it distorts and then back it off until it is clean. Use your ear not the VU meter to gauge how far to push it.

Try bouncing and see if this increases the overall volume. This technique works every time for my stuff.

  • my problem is when I export the file it seems like it didn't really export it cuz it exports my whole song in like 1 second then when I drag the wave in my soundtrack pro only 5 seconds of song is payed.. WTF am I doing wrong? ? ? ? ?

  • check the start and finish bars when you are bouncing it. make sure it starts at bar 1 and finishes when your song does

  • is there a way I can do a piano roll on a sample or on a sample that logic has already, I'm tryna drag a recorded sound pick a particular sound and piano roll it then make my own beats with it??????

  • when i click bounce nothing happens

  • hi, how do I bounce one small part? i.e I want to bounce 1 reversed vocal phrase that has a long reverb tail on it then move the verb tail to the front to get a reverse verb effect.

  • just highlight the bars that you want bounced, or.. use the M button on your keyboard on everrything on the track u dont want, then bounce as normal

  • were can i get this program
