@countrydream100 Hi there, this isn't Dave..however I can tell you that the range goes from about $800. to about $5,000. (USD) from a "not so great" USED to a NEW one...but on average, your looking at the $1,300. to $2,600. range for a Good Used single 10 (E-9th tuning) or 12 string (Universal tuning) with usually 4 knee levers and 3 pedals. GFI makes a Very decent "starter" steel for around $1,100. +or-. Go to Billy Cooper Music.com largest Steel dealer in the world. Great people

Incredible! You make the steel sing! I grew up when George Jones sang it, then Aaron Neville blew me away with his version. Then just last nite I heard a better version of it by an unknown singer with no backup. Then listened to your great rendition! Keep up the great music.

Who says that Britian does not have talent? This man is living proof of it, he should be the on that show over there and have won that prize, not a bunch of teenagers hopping around like they have firecrackers in their pants. I have seen alot of great playing on here from this man himself, and those throughout the world. It is shame they are not more known in the public eye than they are.
