I really can't understand how you watch the show everyday when you seem to not understand what is going on. Kevin and Olivia are at their best when they deviate from the scripted material. The irreverence of their banter and their chemistry with one another is the magic of The Show. The best way for them to sell themselves is for them to be themselves. Besides, the PR people have no desire to reign them in because, unlike you, they understand what makes the show what it is... a success.

It's not a matter of them being racist or homophobic or sexist. It's saying what you feel, joking freely like you would amongst buddies. This is what attracts the young audience. Not FCC-regulated conversation, but chemistry based on the realistic dialogue between two people.
