Basically the helmet won't help you in case your parachute won't open but it will help in case you loose control of your parachute and hit the ground at 40+ mph (similar to falling of a bike while doing DH). Though I'm not a Skydiver or a downhill rider a did a bit of downhill and trials and trust me if you hit your head on a ground or tree at 40mph it really hurts even with it on

She seems kinda distant? I can do anything without fear when I eat mushrooms, but my Ninja skills suck until I come out of it.

@junkmailer2062 Base training is available in some countries, especially norway. No-one will train you without skydiving and canopy handling experience, usually no less than 200 jumps, and some crw training. any less experience is simply suicide.
@junkmailer2062 APEX does training. Minimum of 150 skydives is requirement. You have to start skydiving first to realize that doing BASE outright is a suicide.
I go to work every day from Rupert to Twin Falls, and pass over this bridge, it is crazy to watch the base jumpers, especially during the summer, best part is watching them from taco bell.

it was big and i remember every thing from that event it looked bad ass
im taking my girlfriend out there next month and i plan on doing a pc assist for her 1st and she has 100 skydives, so it comes down to what people feel comfortable with you should know that.
