@Blomgrensworld So then when they give you the shots, they do numb your entire mouth, including your throat? Because on my first visit, the dentist had two instruments in my mouth, and every two seconds I would turn my face away wanting to throw up. Both the dentist and I had a hard time with that. @ChrisDaron I am not an expert but with this procedure and my newest (just uploaded on youtube) I had only the needle in my mouth. The needed was put into my cheek and gum. My dentist let my mouth numb and then came in to do the procedure. Hope that helps you!
I got a root canal done when I was 10 and my dentist had me listening to music and at the worst parts we told me to turn up the music so i didnt feel anything

Thanks for the comments! IN regards to the pain issue...I did not feel any pain whatsoever. Just a little "prick" type of feeling when the needle went in for the Novocaine. Hope this helps everyone out there! If anyone is in the Hudson Valley I can give you the name of the BEST dentist you will EVER see!
@superstar15ist I'm lucky it doesn't bother me to much, what bothers me more are the tiny pieces of the tooth that I could taste....yuck. nothing worse than burning tooth smell.
