@1019129114 corpsegrinder actually hates the "cupping the mic" technique. people think it makes ur voice lower which they think is cheating. it actually doesnt make ur voice lower, it just makes it sound more "bass-like" in a way. so cupping the mic is not cheating, it just makes ur voice duller and actually harder to understand the lyrics. death metal bands do it too. most people think deathcore came up with tht technique.
