i c ur not half the driver in real life as you are on the playstation...but at least you understant the skill it takes to be the quickest and u will improve bit by bit..unlike some other noobs on this...the only way you know u are a good driver is when ur driving by the bottom of your arse
i think my dad is buying me this for my 19th but i have to wait to like 4 months so i have 1 year driving experiance...im so excited im gonna be like a giddy 4 year old kid
Hi there. How much time on track do you get with this single seater experience? Looks great fun, but do you drive the M3 first to get used to the track/racing line? Thanks.
I watched my brother do this today. He won and got the fastest lap of 1.01. Not paddle shift. There's a gearstick on the right side. You may overtake on the left at any point so you don't get stuck behind the slow coaches very long. These are all ex Formula Palmer-Audi racing cars. They and the M3s are all in emmaculate condition. It was a great afternoon! He found the M3 a bit frustrating though having to follow the instructor's technique but it was cool to drive.
To all those saying "why are you going so slow"...Well, some people are just not comfortable going any faster. As long as they enjoy themselves, what does it matter?
FWIW, if I ever do this, and I will one day, I'm going to drive the tits of the car. I know the track from iRacing, and I plan on giving it some serious welly.
What's a good laptime in these things?
Mentality for me is : Fastest lap or die trying. :)
I heard you can drive a '97 Prost F1 at Magny Cour...I'll certainly die trying :)
brillant video , its alot faster then you think when ur 5 inchs off the floor so well done you did well to keep it on the track, i hope it dosent stay at 60mph limit though lol
How much did it cost to do this i know you have to pay for school if you want to get behind the wheel of a car like this? its not cheap iv look up formula one driving school
The laptimes in the video are roughly 1 minute 20 seconds. I drove the same cars in 2007 - 4 gears, 4000rpm and did a laptime of 59.163 seconds. I think you could have gone a bit faster :P lol
Cool. This looks great fun... Would you recommend it? My dad did it and said it was great and would do it again but would do it on the last stage... =D
how fast are these?

it's a excellent gift, I bought it for myself ;)
was using a headcam - Countour HD, they dont have anyone video'ing, but do have a photographer there sometimes.
worth going with someone who has a camera, and can take a video or photo of you on the day, as its free to watch.

why are you going ridiculously slowly?
schumiisking 2 years ago
Not as ridiculous as the other cars on the track!! (there not that fast you know, just over 80mph tops down straight I believe...

Because there are 3 stages : Beginner - up to 60 mph, Intermediate up to 90 mph & Professional up to 120 mph.
This guy was either doing beginner or intermediate, hard to tell.
