  • Brilliant!

    (Prof Tech Eng)

  • Nice use of cardboard to fold a t-shirt. Watch me do it under 10 seconds without cardboard!

  • so cute, lol!

  • that's legend, comments made me laugh too

  • Since when do we have more than one shirt?!

  • i think this is over engineered- if these cardboard boxes were carbon fiber or something the price'd be well over budget

  • Music is from Shining Force for Sega Genesis.

  • @OverWilliam you're not serious, are you?

  • Wow that is way to complicated. It is like solving an integral yet you don't simply it, you make it more complicated. Engineers just throw their clothes in a pile and pick out the least wrinkled one. ;)

  • Im studying electrical engineering. I just leave my shit in a pile and spray it with a water bottle to make the wrinkles go away. Maybe I wont make it as an engineer. lol

  • Liked for the Mario Tune!

  • It looks damn cewl.

  • I approve with the music

  • Was that music from an NES game? I'm thinking RBI Baseball.

  • @CrimsonWazzu It's from super mario world

  • wow, you invented something that already exists. bravo.

  • hahahaha i have made one of those t-shirt folders when i was a kid....i think i was watching this video too :)

  • Well it's pretty obvious the title was aimed at getting views and not actually true.

Engineers would have invented such a device so that factories could run quicker and more efficient. And besides, engineers don't fold their clothing, we have housewives and maids who do that for us.

  • that is how they do it in factory -.-

  • Sheldon from big bang theory has one of these

  • The "Japanese method" video is much more efficient. It wins.

  • what a win

  • Errectin a Tshirt Folder!

  • How ever the clothes come out of the drier is the way it's folded until it's worn. However, this video is clever.

  • haha more unique inventions! :D

  • @SundarBanerBagh, haha thats exactly the reason why I searched for how to make it, because I saw it on the episode and wondered if they had a real thing and how to make it lol

  • i just learned how japanese fold their shirts after hours i mastered it then I SAW THIS o.o ...... this would only take me 30 min to make -_-

  • @cavralPH It took hours to master? You should have looked for a video in english on the "japanese" method. This device is an exercise in inefficiency.

  • Sheldon! :D

  • This was made a year before tf2.

  • But this has been patented by Sheldon Cooper!!

  • Great, now I wanna play Super Mario World !

  • They already sell these....they are called Flip-N-Folds. They have been around for at least 5-6 years, maybe longer.

  • @MarianneK518 but lets face it, you save money buy making it yourself. and some engineer created it some how. besides if ya think about it how do you think that flip-n-fold was originally made with?

  • Genius...xD

  • i will ask my mum to make one

  • the japanese did this same thing with no cost...

  • that music got us ROFL!!! ^_^ I remember getting something like this when i bought an iron...it's gathering dust behind the cabinet where I stuck it. : )

  • They already made this a long time ago as seen on tv

  • SHELDON COOPER! even though he's a physicist

  • so, what's your solution for pants???

  • Sheldon Cooper! <3

  • how much it is ? where can I buy it?

  • ENgineers, we rocK \m/

  • el día que viva solo necesitare esto...

  • Gotta fold that T-shirt up!

  • Nice!

  • THE DESIGN IS INCOMPLETE. IT NEEDS BOARDS TO FOLD THE ARMS TOO!!

  • Do you play ogplanet games

  • Same exact way we had to fold our t shirts in USAF BMTS! Yep, we even had to measure em and use tweezers to get ALL the edges to match up! SOmehow I made it through!

  • just women fold T-shirt :D

  • I was expecting more Sheldon Cooper-related comments :(

  • LIKE A BOSS

  • Meet the Engineer

  • @htf5555 He solved a practical problem.

  • Mario teaches typing??

  • Lovely, it is called flip-n-fold, and is available for $14.99.

  • @brickwallsr and it is also available in used cardboard for 0 dollars and 0 cents

  • @brickwallsr Or you can make your own, like he JUST showed us.

  • You should sell this!

  • as an engineer, after folding the arms in, I just roll it up to put in the drawer. That way I can see nearly all the shirt colors and patterns to choose from instead of having them hidden under a stack of folded shirts.

  • @rjdominique haha I'm an engineer and I've been doing that for years

  • @rjdominique Gonna try that next wash.

  • Engineers fold t-shirts? When did we start folding them?

  • @phase90 Better yet. Where the fuck is my sandwich and my folded t-shirts? I don't have time for this shit!

  • lolz, how do you think department stores fold their clothes? Fairies?

They've been using the same thing for decades. That he made his own at home is the smart thing. Not the technique.

    NEXT!

  • i'll stick with the japanese way

  • That's frick'n awesome!!

  • This music sounds like from Pokemon.

  • @onecoolnerd mario world, mate

  • @onecoolnerd

Pokemon!? Its Super Mario World, foo!

And you say you are "onecoolnerd."

    (Facepalm)

  • japanese way is better

  • What happens if the Shirt is XXXXL?

  • @FlexAlex3 doubl, triple, or quadruple the measurements. simple logic.

  • you sir are smart!

  • Imagine a world without engineers or scientists.

  • great Work! I'll make one myself :)

  • holy sweet thats awesome

  • @skillphiliac i mean that engineers use mm or m...never ever cm

  • Super Mario World title screen music? *likes*

  • Spah' Sappin' mah' Folding machine!

  • Erectin' a batch of folded laundry!

  • Philosophy: A lot of engineering "innovation" starts with some engineers wondering if they could, "do that". In fact the invention of the airplane was started, not by scientists, but by two bicycle mechanics, who wondered if they could, "do that", i.e., build an airpain THAT WORKED. Peace!

  • who uses centimeters?

  • @mitchellbresser The majority of the whole world not wanting to use arbitrary, unwieldy units. : x

  • @mitchellbresser just about the entire europe

  • also can you design a real folding machine for all shirts and T shirts plzZZ? XD

  • "To the people leaving rather idiotic comments about me needing a life, to each his own, but someone did this in plastic and is probably making millions. " <--i SOOOO agree man. Thanks to this vid my the time-consuming house chore has been cut down in half.Note to @OGTalon you definitely score big if your gf takes you home to meet her parents, espcially to her mom!!

  • @hsmeadsy It also doesn't take much intelligence to convert from SI to customary if you don't have a metric ruler.

  • this already exists.....

  • Need a dispenser here!

  • brilliant

  • THAT SHIRTS A SPAH

  • Comment removed

  • Very nice. But what happened was that this engineer cut the hell out of the floor with is box-cutter, and was fired the next day. However they hired a managment type to duplicate this work and he became "Director of Engineering". Been there -- done that.

  • @otissumnerbrown That is not even funny, it's so true...

  • @otissumnerbrown - I doubt that he did any damage to the ceramic tile unless he's got a diamond blade.

  • @otissumnerbrown ya assuming that the management type wasn't beat to the director position by an Engineer who scored higher on his GMAT than the management type - got his MBA faster than the management type - and of course was already the director of engineering when the management type applied for the job.

    Been there- done that.

  • @otissumnerbrown

    The floor looks like tiles.

  • the japanese way is still better although this way is probably cooler just because its more technical

  • Thumbs up for no reason please!!!!

  • @leexuanyitym why ?

  • hahahahah

  • GENIUS!

  • Sheldon cooper had a blue one!

  • This is only if ur a good engineer.

  • You saved my life you almihghty!! Im gonna go live alone in a month and you are just my worshipped!

  • Excellent! Like the music too!!

  • hahaha...this is very cool...

  • Love it lol awesome. If Youtube still had the star ratings I would put 5 stars on this, I am going to try this.

  • You should patent and sell that for-- oh, wait

  • where do I sign up?

  • Well done.

  • Sheldon from big bang theory has this

  • Only a man would do this!

  • oh my, this thing is free and theese guys here (search flipfold on google) are such a rip-off

  • @itudorie i just thumbs-downed myself because I didn't read the description :/

  • d(t-shirt)/d(cardboard) = 0

  • wow... so it seems i'll be doing this in the future... :))

  • So cool!!!! I need one!

  • Or you can just fold it

  • He scratched the hell out of his floor tile cutting that folding jig.

  • omg, will save lots of time! especially since my boyfriend takes 5 minutes for one shirt. :/ poor silly man

  • Lol! I will make my own.

  • dejavu from the big bang theory

  • man..

    sorry..

but.. i didn't know you have a video like mine :(

and this year, 2010, i've uploaded a video like yours without knowing you've got a video like mine :(

    sorry

    don't think i steal you

  • this is cool

  • I never could fold T-Shirts. This will save my life.

  • I just finished building this

  • I am so making one of these.

  • Whoopty shit! He looked at a real folding board, measured it, and make a cheap, shitty one out of cardboard. I'm surprised that he didn't make it out of chinese plastic since he's an "engineer". I havent seen a real engineer for thirty fucking years. Just bookworms.

  • The "Japanese" way of folding is better. No need to build such stuff. :D

But this is funny and interesting in it's own way.

  • Sheldon

  • Why even bother folding a T-shirt?

  • Sheldon used this same thing on the Big Bang Theory, did the shows writers get the idea from this video?

  • freaky shit :P

luvd it man.. gonna try it out soon ;)

  • theres this thing called flipfold, basically, its that made of plastic... i think they stole your idea man

  • Much faster and neater than doing it by hand. I'm impressed.

  • omg i thought this was gonna be an epic fail >__>

    but wth it worked o,O

  • that's actually really cool and smart and inventive! :)

  • Awesome idea man

  • AHAHAHAHA! i thought it was a joke at engineers but:0. its a great idea ;)

  • awesome

  • cool

  • Nice music choice

  • you know they sell these things made of plastic that work like that? :D

  • @DeanMalenko I was going to say the same thing. If you prefer to make your own out of cardboard that's fine, but they did invent this a few years back. And it only works if the engineer-person chooses to get it out of the closet, big step!

  • That's awesome!

  • wtf!!!!SUPER Obama girl in featured video 0.o

  • I know that music... is that from Bubble Bobble?

  • I know that music... is that from Bubble Bobble?

  • In Russia, shirt builds box to fold you

  • This song remind anyone else of Super Mario Bros?

  • just like Sheldon lol (Big bang theory)

  • @sphinxsco

more like Wolowitz, hes an engineer.

  • i'm making this

  • As if laundry doesn't take long enought already.

  • Thats really cool :D

  • except.. they DON'T fold their t-shirts..

  • Genial, wie erfinderisch doch faule Leute sein können.

  • Sheldon Cooper uses one of that... and he's not an engineer

  • Oh, and. T-SHIRT DOWN!

  • I solve practical problems...

  • that is pure AWESOME

  • hehe, thats awesome

  • Comment removed

  • I would rather do it the japanese way, you only need you hands =)

  • Hahaha so awesome!

  • LOL.......i will be waiting for the how to fold a pair of jeans followup.

  • @anotherraybanfan yeah, i saw a video on how to do it that way, and I have been folding my shirts like that ever since, produces the exact same result without a silly device, awesome though it may be

  • i'm making this rite now :|

  • SMH

  • SIGH!!!

  • Pragmatic people just hang the dang things.

  • i just listened the music XD

  • asome

  • as seen in TBBT (the big bang theory)

when sheldon speaks to penny in the laundry

  • stole this of big bang theory

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 this was from 2006 dumbass, BEFORE bbt

  • If he was a real engineer, the plans would have been in millimetres.
